Guys, I THINK it was in an old Car Modeler. If I remember correctly(which is quite a stretch) it said to widen the cab a bit and the hood an fenders needed modification too. BUT, it did come out lookin more like a 37 chev than it did BEFORE the mods!

Rob, believe it or not, your traction bars look just like M.A.S. Traction masters, which were what I had on my Nova, And they worked great! You made them ,yes? cause I KNOW they're not available in ANY kit. GREAT BUILD!

I have seen some BEAUTIFUL kits out of 43rd scale, but I know I wouldn't have the patience to work on somethin that small! I see some nice kits at the toy shows but I'm reluctant to get into that scale cause it is so small!Yeesh, I can barely see 25th WITHOUT my glasses, 43rd would probly finish the job, an make me go blind!

OK Harry, ya got me thinkin with that last remark, But then I though, Why would ANYONE build and put so much work into such an UGLY model? I still think it's real. NOT pretty, just real.

Dan, Thanks for the offer, But, If a Marine Corps SARGEANT , and a computer literate civie couldn't get it thru this thick skull, I don't hold out much hope for a tutorial lesson! What I need is a hands on, over the shoulder training session! Kinda like boot camp.If anyone coulda done it, I thought Clay woulda been able to, but since he couldn't smack me inna head when I screwed up, I guess I couldn't appericiate the seriosness of the lesson! Thats the way I was taught in the Corps, and it's stayed with me now for almost 40 years, so I guess I learn best the "hands on"way! How close are you to Deeetroit, and the Ambassador Bridge? Maybe I could pick you up there?

Gregg, what hospital can we send cards to? cause as if you ain't nutty enough, this kit looks like it'll finish the job! I've NEVER seen a 43rd scale kit with openin doors! Your gonna need the ######'ns Binocs to build this ya know. Hope to see this one done in "under glass" And let the sweetie know to tell us WHERE to send the cards!

I've personaly never used it, but some of the guys here have suggested using "Craigs List" to buy or sell. Like I said, I've never used it, but it may be worth a try.

Joe, that kit is exactly like it was issued back in 66! no changes at all. I had it new then, an I got 2 or 3 downstairs right now! It is a nice kit, reminicent of when they ran BIG engines in BIG cars! Do your best on it, it deserves it!

Dan, unfortunately, I am a computer illiterate!, the best minds on this board have tried an tried to instruct me, but to no avail, I still can't get it down! I am waiting for friend to give me personal ,hands on, do it like THIS dummy, instructions. Hopefully HE can get thru the years of mental inactivity, and I can finally get it right! I wanna join the deth race build soooo bad! All my friends are in on it!
