  1. THANK YOU, Art! You've just cranked the "gotta have it" to "GOTTA have it!" Moebius sure did hit a grand Slammer with this one, for sure! :D
  2. Ron Andrews of RMR has it. It's nice, resin looks lke plastic, and it'sa complete kit, you add the driveline an tires, but it IS a nice kit.
  3. IF you ALREADY have the MPC kit, and you WANT to build a subadiquit kit, GO for it! BUT if you want to build a DETAILED model of a Daytona the Revell kit is the ONLY way to go. Joe Dirt wasn't WORTHY of the destruction of a REAL Daytona! Such a stupid waste of a beautifully RARE car. The movie just wasn't worth THAT!
  4. Good you weren't around for all the kiddy BS that went down. Then again, MAYBE it wouldn'ta even GOT started if you had been here. Stay close Rom, the kids that LIKE ta start the games are STILL here, and they gettin BOLDER. So MAYBE YOU should get bolder too, an slam they butts BEFORE they start actin all stupid like.I missed your builds AND you, so WELCOME back!!!
  5. You got METAL rulers Rod? Where???? I spilt some Ambrose liquid glue on just a itty bitty bit of my clear 25th scale ruler, and it ATE it!!! Put a nice size dent in the clear plastic before I was able to wipe it off! Smeared the numbers at that! I could use a metal one!
  6. Yeeesh. I've only see one,no TWO other guys go to that length of detail in that scale,Stump. TWO of them, i call my freinds! You and Santiago Hernandez are the only guys i've known who can do this kind of work. Met a guy at the Toledo NNL's who does this kinda work too, he's a real nice guy who shared alot of the building tribulations that come with building your OWN parts!(just can't remember his name!) Personally, I think you guys are gluttons for punishment! But I LOVE seeing your work, it's like watchin a REAL one come together!
  7. Yeah, Greg, it's a little clear plastic card with the measurements of stuff in 24th scale. Heights, the proper size for a 6 ft persons head, 7 ft in 24th scale, an some other measuremants. I got mine quite a few years ago thru MAS specialties at a toy show.
  8. Rob, If your gonna show it, sand it off, the judges WILL detract points for it. If it's just for you, an your not gonna show it, who cares. It's yours.
  9. DR!!! THANK YOU!!!! I've got one and I went to look to see if there was an addy on it, unfortunately, there's not, BUT i NEVER thought of carryin it ON ME!!! How COOl! GREAT idea DR. Thank you. I just might change my insurance coverage cazza you Sir!
  10. Cool! Thanks Andy, I didn't know that! I just knew it wasn't the Manx I remembered! But your right, i HAD forgotten about the EMPI Imp. Man those were some times!
  11. Great saves,Steve! Personally, I tend to turn off the wall promo's into models. You know, put a engine in them, open the hoods, etc. Yours came out great!
  12. Monster, interesting concept,Nice execution. But how does the driver see to steer? with TWO Hemi's in it Bro, he'll be lookin at the SKY most of the time!!! Nice job, it came out great!
  13. Man is that gonna be SHARP!!!! Yours is pretty cool too Ron. GREAT subject matter!!!
  14. Guys, for few years now, HallMark card Stores have been running a Christmas Harley-Davidson run of scale motorcycle Christmas ornaments. I started mine about 3 years ago, with a Fat Boy. Last year it was a Tricycle police bike, in 25th scale. This year it'sa V-Rod, in 25th scale. Check them out, as they do run out FAST! I've never paid more than 15 bucks for one, and they REALLY look NICE on the shelf with the rest of the cars!
  15. Looks real nice now, It'll be REALLY nice when you trim it out! Lookin REAL good, bro!
  16. Looks Euro, but I like it. Nice smooth lines.
  17. Actually,Virge, I don't use 'em. Unless they are specific to the car, like ID type decals, i don't use them.I don't put stickers or decals on my real cars, so unless they're REALLY spiffy like the old JoHan Cop car, it had a "Support Your Local Police" bumper decal, that I've always thought was cool, I don't tend to use 'em. But hey, the guys are right, do YOUR thing Brother, an don't worry wat anybody thinks, you build 'em for YOU!
  18. I agree, it IS a beautiful color! Goes GREAT with the interior.
  19. Beautiful car! If you ever drove a 4 spd Charger, you'd see how well the shifter handle fits in your hand. I had a Hurst T-Handle on mine.Still have the original stock shifter ball too! My FAVORITE year of Charger.
  20. Happy Barfday. Ol man!!! Hope you have MANY,MANY more!!!!
  21. Try to find an UNbuilt MPC 1970 Dodge Charger for ANYTHING less than 150 to 200 bucks. Those rascals are UP there!
  22. Happy Birthday,Mrs. Sumner. (You never properly introduced us,Terry!) You a lucky man bro, may you both be happy for MANY,MANY more years! :D
  23. Richard, Missing Link resins makes a complete transkit for only 60 bucks! It's done off the Revell 69 Charger and it's the closest thing your going to get to a company released kit.
  24. Harry, those are alignment pin guides. They help hold the pieces in the jig as they're welded up to complete the whole assembly.
