I would think that the General name decal and stars would be among those Coca-Cola Decals. And if they are they would work for an everyday GMC General as not all of them had the striped paint work . Some GMC Generals were just plain painted rigs! So even if there are no stripe decals that don't mean you cant make the stripes your self, and even in different colors unlike the old decal set that came with the kit before....

Yes But for me it started today sometimes it works then other times I get that same message. I checked with IS IT DOWN RIGHT NOW and they were getting the same message..

I Believe that he is gone due to renal failure. Being hooked up to a machine for 3-41/2 hours, and this is done 3 X a week (IE Mon,Wed, and Fri) When the person get's home they feel wiped out,and their change in Diet plus limited fluid intake add to this. Not to mention Medications that are added to their lives. My late wife went through this with her dialysis, untill she no longer could take the side affects of her treatments She went from 159 Lbs down to 110 Lbs in six months. For her height the ideal weight would have been 123-125 Lbs. When hospice weighed her the day before her passing she was done to 103 Lbs.

AMT stepside GMC pickup
ranma replied to dave branson's topic in Truck Aftermarket / Resin / 3D Printed
More than likely the daully bed would be a regular bed with the extended side panel added on. Use the chevy bed with the GMC step sides added to the bed side's -
A friend of mine sent me the reissued Peterbilt tow truck kit for Christmas. I decided that First the Tow truck bed ect would go on a International Truck , And that left me with the Peterbuilt day cab to build. So while looking around online I found a few single drive Conventional's . The one I really liked is white with a red stripe and blue lower part. I painted mine as close as to what I found online, and added a few altered IH parts to help finish it. Lost one of the cab lights still haven't found where it took off to.. The blue paint is dupli color GM Bahama blue

I'm no expert on the subject of the SMP/AMT '60 Nomad "craftsmans kit's But I think they were molded in at least 5 or more colors during their run. Red, green, blue, light blue and ????
-
My two copies are mot promo's but the Craftsman kit's. Why some had the correct tail lights is odd, but then The first issues of the International Transtar II carried the air suspension from the 4070 kit.
-
I got the same wagon , well 2 of them really. I rebuilt mine factory stock. Both has the correct 4 tail lights! If you really want to do a restro mod I'd just buy a Jimmy flintstone resin copy. Ebay sometimes has the chassis and front bumper/grill for these. Being as old and never reissued as the model is I would suggest keeping it all original, and stock.

Modern vs Older Trucks
ranma replied to Warren D's topic in General Automotive Talk (Trucks and Cars)
Alrighty then, because IH trucks from the 60's to early 1990's had a distinct look compared to those of Ford, KW, Mack, Peterbilt, White, Freightliner GMC , And Chevy -
I'm more into factory stock, but I do like your color choices. Now if I could get the parts I need to finish my '71 and '73 Impala/Caprice's Then I'll have every year from 1970- 76 , But I;m missing a 1975 Caprice.
-
while one is finished the second is waiting on the battery box cover, and I need to get the headlight glass put in.

International Transtar 4200 Formerly a 4300
ranma replied to ranma's topic in Model Trucks: Big Rigs and Heavy Equipment
Yes the cab, and rear cab mount were moved forward. back of the engine almost meets the cab leaving very little space between them. -
I seen them selling resin kits on ebay. Are they good casting's or over priced Junk. I was looking at their '73 Caprice for the missing Parts to use on my '73 Caprice...
-
Right back at you Sam.Thanks for the Paystar 5000 , and enjoy the suburban!
-

Gary, I had one of those years ago when they first was out . As I remember the trailer does have an opening door plus a complete interior. Monogram also made his car in 1/32 scale to go with them.

Actually I bought it yesterday! I paid $10.00 for the AMT snapfast plus Chevy C-3500 street machine custom. The box was open with the parts loose inside , But it was completely untouched otherwise. I put some of the parts up for trade for stock one's My plan is to build as a stock GMC 3500 pickup

1/25 AMT 1977 Ford Delivery Van w/Coke Machine
ranma replied to Casey's topic in Truck Kit News & Reviews
Anyone have pictures of the coca machine, and the bottles from the ford van kit??? ( of the actual pieces that is , not from the box art)? -
Someone paid $600 for a '68 Coronet Yikes!
ranma replied to Bills72sj's topic in General Automotive Talk (Trucks and Cars)
Really? I heard that the '67 became the '68 as they share the basic body shape. Where as the '69 is totally different in body design even the roof is different from those of a '68
