  1. Most of that can be found in Model Rail roading supply's I know hobby lobby has some of the grass, weed's and such...
  2. Actually I bought it yesterday! I paid $10.00 for the AMT snapfast plus Chevy C-3500 street machine custom. The box was open with the parts loose inside , But it was completely untouched otherwise. I put some of the parts up for trade for stock one's My plan is to build as a stock GMC 3500 pickup
  3. Anyone have pictures of the coca machine, and the bottles from the ford van kit??? ( of the actual pieces that is , not from the box art)?
  4. Really? I heard that the '67 became the '68 as they share the basic body shape. Where as the '69 is totally different in body design even the roof is different from those of a '68
  5. I don't think that any model companies made a 1/25 1952 Chevy Bel-air. I know lindberg has a 1/32 '52 but nothing like it for 1/25, and to make a '52 you would have to get resin conversion parts for a '52. The 68 Impala molds either were scrapped, lost or damaged, and the '69 Impala molds were changed into the '70 Impala.
  6. Vince, sorry to hear that you lost your wife to cancer. I hope she didn't suffer to much before her passing. I lost a Aunt, a Sister, and my dad to cancer. My aunt's cancer went to her brain, My sister passed with cervical that spread from her uterus. Then my dad had a blood born cancer. I also lost my wife 6 years ago as of December 28 Th , She passed away from complication due to a mix of renal failure, congestive heart failure, and being a diabetic didn't help.
  7. Towerhobbies show's it is expected as a April release. But we all know how that goes so maybe closer to July I'd say.
  8. Started as a glue bomb That I bought for $3.00. I will need to replace the windshield and do some other work to it so it's not a finished Van yet.
  9. Looks like winter has came to Van Wert Ohio. I'm not ready for the white stuff ,But it's here. Forecast calling for up to 4 inches, and another Inch on Tuesday YUCK!!!!!
  10. Anyone heard from Dave? I see he last visited on September 27 Th. I orderd some parts from him but since he hasn't visited here I don't know if they have been shipped Or ??????
  11. From Toledo's toy show yesterday. Now to find the parts needed to finish the two resin Chevy '71 Impala/ '73 Caprice. The Edsel wagon cost me only $20.00, and is a very nicely built resin model.
  12. Yes they are LARGE as the red Corvette is sitting on a box top that is covering a Ertl 1/16 Peterbilt truck.
  13. Well I actually bought these two on Sunday at the Farm toy show here in Van Wert Ohio. Nice 1/8 Monogram Corvette's
  14. Just one question has the Mack hood made of fiberglass or aluminum when they were built 1:1
  15. Dave, It was great to meet you in Ft.Wayne, and To see your display of what Bill's dad gave to you as well. Hope to see you next year there.
  16. That's good if they do then maybe I can build it as the 1970-1972 IH Unistar
  17. Yes I got extremely lucky. On August 4, I bought a built 4070 that came with it's box, Instruction sheet, and Tech data sheet for $10.00 Then not even a week later I bought the second Transtar 4070 A for $20. Partially built, and The Transtar II $45.00 was factory sealed. The 4070 box is rough but has both the instructions, and data sheet as well.
  18. Yes these rather go for over $100. 00 on Ebay! But I actually got lucky when I bought both of them, and I paid $20. for the 4070a then $45.00 for the Transtar II
  19. Got these the other weekend at the International Harvester Home Coming in Ft.Wayne Indiana. The 4070 had the frame, engine and suspension built, and the cab/Chrome were untouched. The Transtar II was still Factory sealed.
  20. I'm glad I got lucky and bought two of them this month for the grand total of $30.00 !!!
  21. I'd bet the seller was surprised as well.
  22. That one on ebay sold for the High bid of $175.00!
  23. Believe it or not this one actually started out cheap with a price of $2.00 , and with less than 45 min left on the auction $175.00... I feel really blessed Though because I bought one last Sunday (built) which I paid $10 for. Then on August 10, I bought another 4070 and paid $20.00 for that copy, and it was started (frame, engine, and rear axles/wheels) Cab and all the chrome parts were un touched.
  24. A few more pictures of Some of Bill's truck found online. Bill passed away in 2012..
