  1. Thank you again. I like restoring better than building the new stuff. It brinks back memories of my youth, but building the right way. Al
  2. Beautiful Alan!!! Reminds me of my friends dads cars, ugly green and all.
  3. Great color, beautiful build!!!
  4. Thanks guys for the nice comments. Al
  5. You're right Steve. It's for the love of Lincolns and hopefully to see some of those rare finds out there being built. Al
  6. Thanks everyone. I had a lot of fun with this one. Al
  7. I bought this one at a swap meet Friday night. It was never painted and was in very nice condition. I painted it Tamiya Bright Red and no clear. The interior was done in Testors Honduras Maroon lacquer with 1:1 automotive white pin stripe for the seat accents, of course I tinted my windshield with 3 very light coats of Tamiya's Clear Blue for a realistic looking tinded galss. Let me know what you think. Al
  8. Beautifully done. I always favor the hardtop over the convertibles. Al
  9. OK Steve but it'll kill me. Look!!!
  10. Thanks Rodger. I'm already on to my next restore, a 62 Mercury Monterey Conv. Al
  11. A whole year to finish. It's going to be tough. I usually build them in a week.
  12. Got my 69 Continental last night and it's a mint unbuilt kit and will start it Monday. I look forward to the challenge. Al
  13. I did do a before and after on my Corvair gluebomb.
  14. I'm in! But I have to warn you, I was the proud owner of a beautiful 69, the car love of my life.
  15. Beautiful Mustang!!!
  16. Thanks Rich!!!! I have to keep up with you Here's a better picture of the interior. Al
  17. Thanks everyone. I got the pin striping at Pep Boys, it's the double stripe, wide and thin. The width is about 1/8" and you get 20' for $6.95. Al
  18. I have taken pictures of ebay gluebombs, but like my Buick and Lincoln, I forgot where I saved them to. I'm doing a Revell 62 Imperial now and I do have the before to post when I'm done. A;
  19. Thank you guys. Greg the can says it's a Ford color. I don't have any before photo's. As soon as the gluebombs arrive, I take the apart and into the Purple Power they go for piant stripping. I have to remember to take before pictures from now on. Al
  20. Another ebay gluebomb. This one arrived brush painted gold and flat black 2 tone, with blue interior . I stripped in Purple Power and primed it with Tamiya Grey primer with Dupli-color Dark Toreador Red top coat and 4 coats of Testors Wet Look Clear and the windshield was painted with very light coats of Tamiya Clear Blue. I had to order the hood, tail lights, wheelcovers, hood ornament and convertible top boot from The Modelhaus. I painted the interior the same as the body color and used automotive pin stripe on the seats. The tires are from the original kit. Thanks for looking. Al
  21. Beautifully done!!!
  22. Thanks Ron and Greg. There's nothing better to me than bringing someone's nightmare, back to the way God intended. Al
  23. Thanks again guys. I didn't have any problem with mine, but mine was built by others prior to my purchase.
  24. Thanks Ron, I ordered the wheel covers, rear grill and hood ornimate from the Modelhaus but they haven't come yet. So I used the ones from the AMT 65 Lincoln because I couldn't wait. Al
