  1. Thank you everyone for the nice comments. Steve, I think the whitewalls are from the Trumpeter 60 Pontiac that I parted out. The ones from round 2 are perfect also. I landed my Holy Grail 69 Continental today and will be picking it up Friday night and starting it on Saturday. Al
  2. This is an AMT screw bottom gluebomb I bought on ebay. I painted it Testors Wimbledon White with Wet Look Clear lacquers. The interior was painted with Dupli-color Chrysler medium Teal Metalic and the glass was painted with light coats of Tamiya Clear Blue. I'm still waiting on the hood ornimate from The Modelhaus. Let me know what you think. Thanks for looking. Al

  7. Beautiful build!!!
  8. Bueatiful built as always, Rich.
  9. I want to thank everyone for the suggestions on how to correct the bad rear bumper suppied with kit. I removed the bumper and cut an 1/8" out of the center of the bumper. I then glue the 2 halves to the body, added BMF over the cut and put an antique plate to cover upthe rest. It's not a hard fix, but something that could've been corrected by the manufacturer. Let me know how the fix looks. Al
  10. Thanks guys. When I saw this at the swap meet for $20.00, I didn't even think twice. I pleased the way it came out. Al
  11. Scott, I tried to take nice pictures like yours, but the sun was just to bright. See how the ones I added look. Al
  12. This is a MPC reissue and it was built out of the box with the exception of the Round 2 RWL tires and the side mirrors out of my parts box. Painted Testors Inca Gold Laquer with 3 coats of Wet Look Clear. The interior was done in Tamiya Primer White with Semi Gloss Black dash and carpeting. The glass was tinted using 3 light coats of Tamiya Clear Blue. All in all not a bad kit, but the rear bumper seems to wide for the body. Let me know what you think. Thanks, Al
  13. I see they're finally bringing out redline tires in their parts packs
  14. Perfect!!!
  15. Thank you everyone. I picked this up at a swap meet for $20. and am very happy with the end results. Al
  16. This van started life as a Johnny Lightning in Coca Cola paint. I stripped off the Coke paint scheme and primed it with Tamiya white primer and painted it Dupli-color Dark Toriador Red and 4 coats of Testors Wet Look Clear. All lensing was covered with BMF and painted with Tamiya clear tints. The wheels were painted in Testors flat steel and all window trim was done using a black Sharpie. I did scratch the windshield trying to remove it and will polish it out when I get more Novis #2. Let me know what you think. Al
  17. Excellent build!!!
  18. Thanks guys. Al

    My Azera

Here another Azera. I painted mine in Testors Maroon Lacquer with wet look clear top coat. I chose the clear roof panel and tinted it with Tamiya's smoke. The interior was done with Tamiya's flat flesh and semi gloss black. Pretty nice kit for a snapper. Thanks for looking. Al
