  1. Very nice in white. I bought 4 more to try some other colors and more headlight detail.
  2. Great build!!! The paint textures match those built in this era. Nice.
  3. Excellent Long Roof!!! Beautiful finish
  4. I build them all. It's a kit and know me, I'll never sell them. And besides, kit boxes take up a lot more room than a finished model. IMO
  5. Thanks everyone. This is a great kit for $9.50 and a must have for Mustang guys. With a little more work and mirrors. This can be an excellent replica. Al
  6. Looks fantastic!!! I wanted different wheels, but I was out and the local LHS is to far away for just a set of tires. I see a lot of these in my future too.
  7. Thanks guys. The headlights are a lot easier than it looks. 1st google 2015 Mustang images and get a good pic. of the headlights. Remove the pre-installed headlight by just prying them out. All the the sharpie work will be done on the outside of the lens, because they are painted silver on the inside. I used a large Sharpie to do the surround and an extra fine for defining the parking, turn signals and headlights. If you make a mistake, just polish it out and try again. It took me 2 minutes per side. Al
  8. This came this morning in the mail. I thought it was a good hot day to do a quick build. I primed it with Tamiya Grey Primer and then painted it Testors Grabber Blue and Wet Look Clear primer. Detailed the headlights using fine sharpies and Tamiya clear orange, just need a steady hand. The tail lights were also painted with Tamiya clear red over the prepainted one supplied. I had to lower the stance, which is very easy to do. A very nice simple kit. I only wish it had outside mirrors. Hope you like it. Al
  9. Beautiful Ray!!! I wish someone would make a true scale kit or diecast one of these, I don't care.
  10. For the short time I knew him, I found a true moderler and a new friend. I will miss his monthly creations and talking to him at our meetings. Truely a sad day.
  11. Beautiful build. I like your model better than the real car.
  12. Beautifully built!!! Love the backgrounds.
  13. Real nice build, Scott
  14. Thank you everyone for the nice comments. I can't wait to see what Meng has coming next and since I'm banned from stairs for a year, hopefully I won't have to take pain pills to finish the next one. Al
  15. Beuatiful build!!! I really like the waterbottle in the center console.
  16. Excellent Van Dan!!! A guy in my town has a 2013 Ford E350 4x4 van in black all decked out with winch, big tires and wheels and smoked windows. He says it was very scary to drive for the 1st couple of weeks, afraid it was going to tip over everytime he wanted to turn. He's a builder and now says it's the ultimate 4x4, lots of room inside and a blast to drive.
  17. The kit was excellent and the building experience was fantastic. My walking has a lot to be desired. I bought this kit off ebay from China for $48.00 including shipping. It was waiting for me when I got home from NNL East. I let it sit for a week before I painted it. I painted it Testors Royal Blue Pearl lacquer with Tamiya Clear Blue top coat. The clear blue really brings out a blue luster that is incredible. The windows were tinted with Tamiya's Smoke and the interior was painted with Tamiya's Flat Wood Plank. All paint was done out of Rattle Cans. I listened to all the problems with the window and tail light bezel's, so the build was a breeze. The tires are from Tamiya's Land Cruiser. I had to take a break on the build for some knee surgery. The kit was down stairs and I thought I was OK to do stairs, I was wrong. The new knee gave out, fell down the stairs, screwed up the new knee and torn both rotators cuffs. I did what any true moderler would do, Cried like heck and then tried to figure out how to get the truck and myself upstairs before my wife got home and figured out what an idiot I am. Took an hour and a half, but I did it. Wife knew right away. 2 PRP's for each shoulders and a lot of work on the new knee and being banned from the basement for a year, isn't too bad . I had enough time to finish the truck. I did misplace the decal sheet though. I hope you enjoy this build more the me, Al BTW I am walking again and am going to my club meeting tomorrow night (no stairs)
  18. Nice build Alan. I hated this car when it was brought out and still do. But liked the pickup version.
  19. Very nice Alan.
  20. That is one beautiful model and build.!!!
  21. Excellent build!!! Just the way I like em, replica stock.
  22. Thank you again. I was thinking jamming a big V8 and a tubed chassis. Oh wait, I don't do drag cars. Al
  23. I'm glad you all enjoyed my little wagon. This is a great kit with no fit issues. The rear hatch opens on realistic hinges and functions perfectly. Thanks for the nice comments. Al
  24. This was released recently from Revell of Germany. I'm not a fan of the car at all, but it did get transportation to people who never thought they could own a car. I painted this Tamiya Flat Wood Deck and Testors Wet Look Clear out of rattle cans. The interior was painted Krylon Claret Wine with black insert. This is a the 1st Revell of Germany I've ever built and I have to say the kit is excellent, with casting as good if not better than Tamiya. Lots of parts go into this little 4 1/2" model. Thanks for looking. Al
