  1. Thanks guys for the nice comments. I wasn't sure about the Bronze with the Red interior, but it's a very unusal and striking choice. I love trying to do these in one day, it's a challenge. Al
  2. This was a very fast and fun restore. It started with a $10.00 swap buy. Modelhaus supplied new glass, fender ornaments, convertible boot and wheel covers. After market steel wheels for wheel cover and BMF The paint is Tamiya's white primer,Testors Bronze lacquer and Testors Wet Look Clear. The interior was done in Tamiya's Hall Red with silver inserts and the windshield is tinted using light coats of Tamiya's Clear Blue. This a model of a 1:1 I saw at a car show last summer. I'm still waiting on a set of Edsel photo-etched emblems. I started on this yesterday morning and completed it at 8 pm. Let know what you think. Thanks for looking. Al
  3. Perfect build!!!
  4. Thanks guys!!! Tomorrow I'll be posting my one day restoration project of a 1960 Edsel Convertible glue bomb. Al
  5. I have done many builds for this guy, but this one took me 12 years. I lost it for the 1st 5 years When I found it, I had my friend Al mix and air brush the salmon color. I let it sit and then when I decided to finish it, I chipped the paint on the hood. I tried to call my friend Al for a while to do a touch up and found out he'd passed away. So back in the cabinet it went. Next I got sick and haven't been able to finish it. Thanks to my friend Dave, he was able to match the paint job perfectly. Thank goodness for good modeller friends. It took 12 years and shipped today, hope he likes it or remember it Al

  17. I bought this one off ebay for $10.00. It was moulded in that ugly tan. I went to my club meetings and asked for suggestions for colors. Dave Wood said he owned a 1:1 in white with a black vinyl roof. So here it is. Also at Friday nights meeting, this car will be giving to Dave. Everybody should have a model of their favorite car. Thanks for looking. Al PS: I'm recovering from knee surgery and it took me a long time to get down on my garage floor to take these pictures, when my dog Chuck decided he wanted his feet in the pictures . I just coudn't get down again to take more shots.
