Thank you, Frank. Thanks for the suggestion. There is another small round part the axle goes in that I did not include, sorry. I am trying the tires but so far I'm not having any luck making them but I will keep trying.

Hopefully you wont be having any ID10T errors. LOL -
I will give the tires a try. I filled the tires in and created clay bases for them. Now they are boxed in and ready for silicone. I have made hollow tires in the past. Removing the clay from inside of the tire once side one is done can be a challenge. HHHMMMM, I just realized after posting this that a materials test should be done. It is possible that the silicone will not like the tire material and will not cure against the tires surface then I will end up with uncured goo.

WOW! I do love Buicks! That is very nice too. I would really rather have a Buick!

mastercaster1@cox.net is best.

Hi Mike, Glad you like them. They are available now.
-
Thanks, Gabriel, that would be great. Now that I am retired I will have more time to host build sessions. You can come over.

It's a spray bottle called PURPLE POWER. I probably bought it at Wally World some time ago. Here are some pics of the first set. I added a drop of black dye. Might be easier to chrome with one of those pens or alclad spray.

Hi Toner283, So...is the frame useful, or not so much?
-
WOW!! OK....I will give them a look, been busy. I am considering doing the hood and the chrome inserts and the windshield frame. Perhaps the body itself is good too. There seems to be a lot of good parts. There is another thread about frames, what is this part like compared to other kit parts?
-
I can most likely do them. I will give them a look. I presume they are not a common tire?
-
Are the tires good to do?
-
I plan to do these parts and the windshield frame too.

I mostly sell by word of mouth and posting photos of projects on forums. I would like a site to sell parts on. I don't know how to do that. I am working to get my shop in better shape and getting some amenities installed so that work will be easier. If I were a billionaire, I could book flights and just hand deliver parts to customers. That would be a different way to see the world. Then I could see how customers live in Sweden, Germany, Australia, etc. where I have sent my parts to. I get told I undervalue what I do and how I do it. Anyway, I drive to the PO down the street in Youngtown and pay the price to mail parts.

I used some brand of purple cleaner.

Thanks Scott. Someone asked about the windshield frame. It does look nice.

It is the Stacey David 32 Rat Roaster by Revell. I take a piece of cheap food storage bag and force clay in to fill in the back of the wheel and set it on clay. Then I boxed it in and poured a small amount of silicone in and vacuumed the air out of the silicone so as no tiny bubbles might form in the wheels detail.
-
The wheels in the SD Rat Roaster kit are nice. I removed the chrome. That yellowish layer is harder to remove that it used to. This kit has a lot of other nice parts too. I really like some of the engine parts and the hood with those chrome things. Has a nice fuel tank too.

You can purchase the plastic polish on Ebay or from the BMF site itself. https://www.bare-metal.com/model-building-molding-specialty-items.html If you are wanting to do resin casting, they have a good price for a one pound pack of KLEAN KLAY. I have seen this stuff listed for much higher prices. -

Nice, There should be one for plastic polish too. Bare Metal Foil makes the best and most inexpensive that I know of. I have tried several brands. This works great for rubbing out paint too. -
