The mold is complete, vents cut, wells cut in. The first try is pretty good. I use a sharpened coffee stirring stick to push the flash free from the parts edges.

I picked up a 83 Hurst Olds kit. Mike suggested I do the Distributor and cap. He said it is a very nice part. I threw in the wiper motor too. I will make a few more and then make a mold that will make a ten pack.

https://www.hemmings.com/classifieds/cars-for-sale/maserati/a6gcs/2262232.html Thank you, I found this. There is a kit in 1:24 in existence? Is the kit common? -

This is what I am going to do to my resin casting shop. I am a horrible organizer! I just have trouble deciding how to arrange tables and cabinets. I am working to put wheels under everything. I do like to be able to easily move furniture to arrange and clean. Now that I am retired from a job I can walk to work too.

http://barchetta3500.com/ I don't mean to hijack this thread, but I have a question about this Maserati clone. Is it possible from using the photos on this site if this car can be 3D printed into a 1:25 scale parts for master parts. I see I can get a 1:43 diecast or a 1:18 diecast. I would really prefer 1:25/1:24 scaled parts for molds. -
https://decalprofx.com/ Here is a kit that you can use to make white, silver and gold decals. While it does have a learning curve, it is quite versatile and cheap too. Apply your image to clear decal paper and you are good to go, you can move it around. You can make temporary tattoos too. Have a different look every day.

Something New At Hobby Lobby

I would like one of these. It looks to be about the size of the Ford 8N we had on the farm. One of our neighbors had a Golden Jubilee, I'm thinking it was a little bigger than our 8N though, it had a cool looking badge on the grille. -

Try searching glass beads for jewelry making. -
I was approached by a guy who mastered a 1/16 scale body, hood and rear bumper into a Richard Petty Roadrunner. It is just these three parts. I am curious about the interest this might have. He has built some other Petty cars and taken them to him. Richard likes his builds and displays them.

https://www.polytek.com/products/pt-flex-70-liquid-rubber https://snoriderswest.com/article/old_sled_zone/vintage_antique_snowmobile_1927_ford_model_t_with_track_and_skis Great project. I really like the four wheel drive parts. There were sled skis for the front end of these cars too. Have your resin caster make the tires out of this material. It is easy to work with and cures within an hour. Mix in a little black dye and it will make great tires, nice and flexible like a model kit tire.

Hi all, my wife and I have been spending time taking care of neglected items around our property and our relationship. She works way too hard and I still work a full time job too. -

Yes, it is still available and we plan to make it available for a long time to come. I have quite a few to make to fill orders. -

Through Dwayne or I . I have a lot of catching up to do. I am in need of making a new chassis mold. It is really holding up progress. I can't get a good one to come out. Also I am back to work at my job so I don't get to spend all day there making parts. I do have another guy in training to help me out, that should help some. He is a professional model builder and he lives close to me too. I am also working on other projects as well. -
I am planning to offer them. I'm not really liking my first mold attempt though. I am thinking about another way to make a mold. I think $18.00 for the number of them you get is not too bad of a deal.

And around that area in a CVS or Walgreens you might find some nice, really pointy double ended Q-tips in a round container. I use them to remove smeared clay in scripts and other detail when claying up parts for mold making. -
I have some up tops from some vintage kits. Camaro, Firebird, one that might fit a Chevelle. I have some I could cast from original issue Buick kits too. Maybe a up tops pack might be a good idea to create. I have been buying original mint unbuilt kits for a few years now. I also have some people around me that would loan me original parts to make molds from too.

http://www.fireballmodels.info/ Contact Joseph and ask him. He offers a printing service. He designed and sent me six master tires for the 88 to 91 Ford Crown Victoria resin kit. Here are some rubbery resin copies. I use Polytek PT Flex 70 with some black dye added.
