I think they may be lost. The website link gave me a 404 error message (Not Found) I too would love a few of these as I now have 5 of the 6 years of this series Ford Pickup kit
-
I have 3 of the Ford pickups, with 2 more on the way. The 3 I already have at home are the 67 Service box, 68 F250 and ??Sport Custom shortbox this one shows a black and white truck on the box I am thinking of putting the service box on the 250 rather than the 67 F100 I need Good pictures of the Foam rig (Foam 127) from Emergency Iknow the grill and front bumper are white not chrome and think the Non-plated rear bumper in the 250 is more accurate for this build as well. the 2 I have just ordered are the 70 4x4 and first issue 71. I too am waiting for the wrecker to become available.

Maybe Police, Fire, etc. Convertibles, though I can do that myself. I am trying to do some Wagons out of GTO kits, And would love to do one out of a 64 Cutlass kit since I have at least 4 each of the Coupe/442 and Convertible

If you are still interested in the trade, let me know. which kit you want. Red box art A990 Dodge, Blue boxart streetable A990, or the Plymouth Belvedere. Sorry for not getting back earlier. Dan

I have several copies of the MPC/AMT Twinsonic 'Style lightbar, both old tooling and new (CHP issue 78Monaco AND 2 of the parts pack sets). What I mean is the OLD Light setup seen on Squad 10 in the Pilot, or as seen on Battalion 14's car for Most of the series, as well as on Foam 127 & Deluge 105 in ALL episodes they appeared in. The "Platter" was Triangular in shape with 2 forward facing lights, 1 facing rear, and a 2 sided light facing sideways I will try to find a pic soon. found pics. the wagon is the ORIGINAL Paramedic squad. 59 stationed AT Harborview General that was use as Rampart Emergency in the series. the station was on the grounds of the hospital at the time!! This is the roof light setup I need/want measurements for!!

A990, and "Coronet" 2dr sedan (Just a streetable of the A990), and Plymouth Bevedere. All 1965. Wanted the Belvedere and Coronet to be stock, But.......

I knew the Red boxart kit could Not be built stock, But Hoped that The Other one, (blue Sedan boxart) Could be built as a Cheaper version factory stock Dodge. Sadly No The Belvedere kit boxart shows a Father with 3 kids coming out of a Toy store, So.............. I guess I am rather Stupid thinking that would NOT be a Dragster!! How soon before "Daddy" Kills Most if not all those Kids???? The Only kit of the series I like is the Satellite. Surprisingly, it is Fully Factory stock

Hi all, as stated in the review section for these kits, I want to get rid of them!! I am looking for the Convertible Only of the Former Polar Lights Coronet. Evidently this is the ONLY one that can be build Factory Stock! My preference is the Turquois painted version. I had that one and had done a bit of work on her, but had to sell off a number of kits when mother went into the nursing home. I might be interested in the 64 GTO convertible, but did not care for the few red ones I saw. The paint looked Very faded or washed out compared to Real 64 GTO's I have seen I know the Hardtops of Both the 65 Coronet, and 64 GTO have been reissued by AMT, but Not the Convertibles. I LIKE convertibles More that hardtops, unless I am trying to convert to a Wagon, or match a specific car. I hope someone here can help me, Dan

After taking a second look at the "Stockish" Dodge, and Belvedere 1, I am VERY disappointed in both. Neither can be built Factory Stock out of the box, (Where can I get the Stock parts??) Also, Both Dodge sedans and the Belvedere have IDENTICAL interior panels and front Bucket seats, the Coronet sedan and Belvedere also share the rear bench seat!! The boxart for the Belvedere makes me think this kit Should be a base level family 2dr sedan Not a "Streetable" Dragster!! So.............until Factory stock versions of these come out (like NOT go to happen) Mine are up for trade/sale!! I DON'T want them11 Can't make an LAPD police cruiser out of that Dragster Belvedere!!

Hi All, Where can I find Measured drawings, Or Good scale pictures for the roof 'Platter' light/siren from LA County, as seen on several units during the TV series "Emergency" I would like to make deluge 105 with AMT's New tool 60 F100 (I know with Duallys it should be an F300) as well as Foam 127 from Moebius's 67/68 kit Might as well ask to find that old skid mount foam unit, And the Size diameter, etc of the Deluge gun on 105 I did check Online, and LA County Museum sites but no luck.

Any Chance AMT Might Backdate The Dodge Van?
Edsel-Dan replied to oldcarfan's topic in Truck Kit News & Reviews
Wish the police part were still in the Dodge van kit. That's how I built mine way back when. Still have not started the Cannonball issue. Forgot a third kit I have, The Cutom camper/party issue. Painted her white over gold and addedthe large sunroof over the back 2/3rds of the roof. Used the couch, bed & curtain divider behind the front seats -

Got the 3 sets of duallys and 1 snowplow this past Wednesday. My only complaint is they should have included at least a photocopy of that part of the instructions -
Any Chance AMT Might Backdate The Dodge Van?
Edsel-Dan replied to oldcarfan's topic in Truck Kit News & Reviews
I have 2 of these Dodge Vans, the 72 Annual window van, and the 'Cannonball Run' Ambulance. Unlike the First time issue Fire/Rescue or Penske Chevy Van kits, The Dodge vans did Not have separate hoods. They had the engine, but the hood was cast in place on the body. Those 2 Chevy kits had separate hoods, but later issues lost that feature -
Got my 2 last week. Wish the tires were the same Narrow ones as in the Satellite for the Coronet and Belvedere sedans. Since the Belvedere shows a Father and 3 kids I was thinking this was a Cheap family sedan, not a Street Race car. Will we eventually get a Sedan with Bench seat instead of front buckets??? What about Stock forward exhaust pipes?? Can't afford 4 Satellite kits just for the tires and pipes!!!

AMT 1960 3-in-1 Ford F-100 Pickup Truck
Edsel-Dan replied to rekcirb13's topic in Truck Kit News & Reviews
Yes, Revell's 64-66 Chevy Pickups are Shortbeds, while the AMT kits and promos were Longbed. I do wish the Revell kits were Longbed. But.......Hopefully we WILL get the AMT '66 Longbed back -
I was shocked when I found the 63 Nova wagon, 64 Galaxie, 65 & 68 GTO Craftsman kits at my WalMart. I did not buy the Galaxie, because I bought the California Drag Combo for the Trailer & Galaxie. I did get 3 each of the 65 GTO & 63 Nova Wagon, but only 2 of the 68 GTO. I got 2 of the 68 Coronet convert. there too. I wish they had added new kits this year, but sales in my store must have been too soft. I wanted to see the 71 Demon, as well as the Hardtop of the 68 Coronet. All they have left are clearanced NO, there are no more GTO's left!!

Hi all, I have access to an unbuilt sealed bag Aurora 34 For coupe kit and wonder if it is worth buying The kit is a 'Young Model Builders selection in a Mailing carton so ALL parts, etc are in one clear bag. I have looked at this kit in the shop since I first walked in. It is still there. Many thanks. Dan.

Did LAPD actually use that Mechanical siren by then?? I do know they used the Mercury then as we do see a few on Adam-12. But we also see the 70 Coronet, and LAPD did not use that one. Dragnet showed Fullsize Fords or Dodge Coronets for the 4 years they ran. In fact, Friday & Gannon used a '67 Ford Custom as the Homicide 'Call Car' when the Motor Officer was shot I don't think there was any reason they kept the 69 Belvedere for the third season other than it being ready Remember, They did only go with a Single year for a car twice in the 7 seasons. First year only for the 68 Belvedere, and Fourth year for the 71 Satellite. The Matador was used for the 5th, 6th and 7th seasons, while the 67 was used in the Pilot only but seen in ONE scene later during the first season (That likely being filmed FOR the pilot but only used later--Look who the Culprits are!!) I LOVE adam-12, and Know Everything about those Cruisers!! Only the 67 Plymouth and the Matador ever show the Badges & Script of the car--(look at how much silver Duct tape you see on other cars during the series. Even a Criss-Craft Boat has its name covered in one episode
-
How about a 66-72 Belvedere/Satellite 4dr?? (or even Wagon) LAPD and other city agencies used that body more that the Fury or Monaco Adam-12 used the 66 to 69 Belvedere and 71/2 Satellites since they were correct LAPD cruisers

I have another issue of the Modern Tool 57 Bel Air with the Pro-Shop photo-etched and Rubber parts trees. I got it on Clearance at Hobby Lobby, The Chevrolet 100Th Anniversary Tin collectors box edition. Back when this kit first came out, I was buying the Standard issue, Pro-Shop, & Coca-Cola issues for Only $3.33 each at Tots-R-Us!! I passed on the street machine as "Not My Thing/Not interested"

Coming Soon from Atomic City's JoHan line of new kits
Edsel-Dan replied to thatz4u's topic in Car Kit News & Reviews
I would have loved to get either the Pickup kit or the 66 Fury Convertible, but I don't palmplant, my face or any other of those sites, So...........How does someone like me find out about them until after they have soldout??????
