Edsel-Dan replied to 91blaze's topic in General Automotive Talk (Trucks and Cars)
I haven'y uploaded in a while, so can't say. It may be a new problem. Could be due to increased accounts what with fotki's screwing members now. -
Way too hot to build!
Edsel-Dan replied to '08SEAL's topic in General Automotive Talk (Trucks and Cars)
Almost as bad here With Both the Ocean & the Chesapeake to draw from, Humidity is Unbearable Most of the summer Had a bit of a reprieve yesterday & today though. Only just over 77 for a high, and cloudy. Slight chance of showers. July/August temps coming in another day or two though. -
Correct. No 40s kit was in that series. The Oldest being the Benz 300 Gullwing Also, the 63 Galaxie Sports Roof & 65 Lincoln were the first 2 kits in the series. I have all kits in the series, though my Corvair is Not in that box!! I have the 63 Impala, and both 65 Pontiac's started (Plus another of both Pontiac's not started) Silhouette Show Car, Avanti & Vette Roadster are not started either

The Heller kit is LESS detailed the rear axle is molded to the chassis even though the trailing arms are separate. (It is set up for batteries & motor) Mold quality is noticably poor on the Heller kit versus to Imex/Arii kit too. I have both kits The few good points on the Heller kit. Decals that the Imex/Arii kit does not have (Light lens detail for under the lenses, badges) & it has both boot cover & Up top. Though that Up top is Smoothly Polished not textured like fabric as it should be.

Edsel-Dan replied to 57peppershaker's topic in Car Aftermarket / Resin / 3D Printed
I opened the site before posting, and saw a price under both when I checked them. If they are not ready, I would not expect to see a price listed yet. Which one does not look right?? -

Looking for Dutch translation help please
Edsel-Dan replied to Edsel-Dan's topic in General Automotive Talk (Trucks and Cars)
I have No need to look on Screwtube. My account there, that gargle will not let me into is "EdselDan" All the ones with English Translations posted are MINE!!! (So long as they are All there that is[some did come up in a search]) I have All the Lyrics to the songs through last years TV Show/CD KVK-32 "Zo Bijzonder" I can send the text file to anyone helping i asked here for Human help. I have tryed those on line "Translators" but they do a Poor job at best, and some words can give them fits enough to Crash the site. My favorite one is Gone though. AltaVista/Yahoo BabelFish Believe it or not, I had some use those On-line transalators on songs I already had posted. I only posted a song After getting a translation. Due to g@@gle demanding a G account now instead of an Original Pre-existing Youtube account ID, I have Lost contact with almost all of my translation helpers. i know there are members of the Forum who are from Nederland/Netherlands/Holland. I just wanted to post this here, instead of trying to PM all/any of them for this request. thanks for the suggestions, but I need real translations, not those automated Close enough thing from online sites. (Unless you know of an On-line one that is not automated, but a Live person doing the work) Besides, there are almost 275 songs left from the group I need translated I just downloaded 318 Hi-Def clips from youtube to replace my Low res copies. (That only covered the first 25 Annual Shows-And NO Specials--This year is 33) Yes, I have at least 1 or 2 copies of the one links "Twee Vaders/Two Fathers" Also, The Copy of KVK 10 TV show I have is Subtitled in English -
Hi all, I have a New Favorite Music Group, but they are From Hilversum/Amsterdam area of Nederland/Netherlands/Holland. I would love to understand what they are singing, but do not read/write/speak Dutch yet. Any help would be greatly appreciated. They are a Childrens Group, Kinderen Voor Kinderen, if that matters. There are a few others from there I like too. Many Thanks,

Edsel-Dan replied to SuperStockAndy's topic in General Automotive Talk (Trucks and Cars)

What is your eBay strategy?
Edsel-Dan replied to Fat Brian's topic in General Automotive Talk (Trucks and Cars)
First thing I do is ask the seller if they take US Postal Money Order as I do not have pay-the-bay. If they say No, I do not watch that item, or any of their others ever again. If they say yes, I will bid. I ususally put the max I can afford then. But if I am first bid, I may put a low bid in. I may later go and increase my bid if I really want it. I have 3 Aurora ALF kits I got for under $40.oo shipped. -
I like that one. If Juha Airio mastered it, I would Not expect some one to call it only passable like most of their other castings But, I have no idea what they may have done to the master before casting

Bobby Allison drove Bud Moore's 77 T-Bird, Not Torino!! the other mag showed one of the Lindberg 1/32 scale built as the Nascar!!

I would love to see the 71 Satellite & 73 Matador in 4dr sedan!! I want that 68 Belvedere. 67, & 69's too!! I might try to graft the roof from a Jo-Han 68 Fury onto the Mono/Rev 67 GTX. The design was very similar. I measured a 67 Coronet a few years ago. I would love to see more 4dr kits! Even Station Wagons! -

Glue Bomb 77 & 79 Trans Am's about $1.oo for the 2. My last find, late April a 68/9 GTO for only $5.oo Sealed I have a friend who goes to Many more every week and has found a little. First was an Original Monogram 1/32 Mack CF Pumper. Last week no kit, but an NWSL "Chopper", Toll rack, Paint Shaker, 1/35 scale ruler, etc
