Lucas decals were made a long, long time ago. They were pretty good at the time. If you decide to buy the decal from SMH ask them to send you a picture of the decal. Good Luck Mike Decals by Lucas Galpin Gasser II 56 Ford decal | eBay

I finally got around to build it. The blue paint is touch up from my Mustang. I used Wicked Pearl White and mixed in some PearX Blue for the interior. The Firehawk tire decals are from Fireball. After much back and forth I decided to use the blue decals. Ed Sexton and the guys at Revell sure hit a homerun with this one. Mike

I am looking for the 1969 Mustang CJ hood that I can use on the 1969 mustang Boss 302. Thanks Mike

Thank you, guys. I completely forgot about the CJ. I am going over to the wanted section. Mike

Does anyone make a Revell 1969 Boss 302 hood with the cut out for the Ram-Air hood scoop? There is a faint outline under the hood for a DIY cutout, but I don't want to screw the hood up. Mike

Karl is right about the plug. The one that Micro-Mark sells looks like the one pictured here. I can't give you an opinion I don't have one. Good Luck Mike Compact Vacuum Forming Machine – Micro-Mark (micromark.com)

The 327 was the go-to engine for most Gassers until the 426 Hemi became available. Mike -
I use a brush that is the same size as the part that I want to paint. I load up the brush with enough paint too paint the primed part with one stroke. Greg has the same size paint brushes that I use. Just buy the best ones that you can afford. Good Luck Mike

Steve, I read on Google that stores that sell Gift Cards have been hacked. They look for Gift Cards that have been activated and still have a balance. Thanks Steve. Mike

Hobby Lobby 40% off Sale
Mike 1017 replied to nickfzr61's topic in General Automotive Talk (Trucks and Cars)
I have lived in my house for 17 years. I swear that the Hobby Lobby by my house has been selling the AMT 1968 Shelby GT 500 Mustang for 17 years now. I did buy one 10 years ago. Mike -

I received a couple of Visa Vanella Gift Cards for my birthday. I checked the balances before I tried to use them. A few of the vendors that I have bought from in the past with Gift Cards now, will not accept Gift Cards. I did buy what I needed from other vendors with no problem. Does anyone know why vendors won't take Gift Cards anymore? Mike

Any “diet” pop (soda) worth trying out there?
Mike 1017 replied to Monty's topic in The Off-Topic Lounge
I don't know how many cans of real pop you drank a day. Try to limit yourself to 1 or 2 a day. Good luck Mike -

I wish that photo was in color. The paint job may have been a masterpiece. I wonder how many race car bodies were by them. My favorite paint job is when Lace is used. Mike -

All of that is probably in the interior. -

I am reading about Ed Pink and his early years at the Bonniville Salt Flats , and I came across this photo of a Barris built Streamliner. The person in the wheelchair is Chet Herbert the man behind Herbert Cams. He never let Polio stop him. Mike -
