  2. That sux Joseph. I know you put a lot of effort into your carbs and all of your goodies and to have them ripped off is unforgiveable. I know this sort of thing happens a lot with decals and other items.. If I can prevent anyone from buying his copies I will definitely do so. He is on ,my TP list!
  3. Your Chevelle looks perfect. Very nicely done. The 65 has always been the Chevelle I like most of the breed.
  4. Looking very good so far. Always liked that Impala and the Revell kit is excellent, I wish all their kits were that good.
  5. Your two door sedan looks great, I agree that the wheels add a nice touch too. One thing that the kit really has wrong is the windshield wipers. On a 40 the wipers are at the bottom, like the kit and on a 39 the wipers are at the top of the windshield. A few trim pieces vary also. I always look at the wipers to determine a 39 Deluxe from a 40 Standard.
  6. Ron, not sure it matters much but the 428 is a FE Ford engine and the Cyclones had 385 Ford engines, like the 429 and 460. You could use a 351 small block. I don't think that the FE (332-428) was available in the 70-71 Cyclones.
  7. Fireball, as Pat said. By far the most accurate and realistic Holley's, and AFB carbs. Super nice to deal with too.
  8. Phone call has always worked for me.
  9. Just ordered a kit a few months ago, great guy to deal with, I am sure RR will be greatly missed. I better look to see if there is something I need ASAP.
  10. Joseph also is working on some wheels and tires specifically for the Revell Bronco. Should be great. The kits wheels are way undersized, like maybe a 13 inch wheel. It will be nice to have some more options available. I ordered my fender flares today also
  11. Yessir, Joseph is the best! Thanks for letting me know about Joseph having the Bronco flares, I will order some ASAP!
  12. Missing Link Resin makes a 70 and 71 Cyclone street stock kit. Come with all correct interior parts, bumpers, grilles and really nice body. You have to have a Revell 70 Torino kit for the chassis, engine and chassis parts. It take a little work but would be a perfect street Cyclone, Keith Marks makes decals for both years also.
  13. Too bad they shipped the wrong body in the BW kit. It would be nice if they'd throw a Bel-Air back seat in the Black Widow kit. I doubt many 150 sedans were sold without a back seat. It was like a $9 option IRL, I think.
  14. Mark, Nice work! Always a pleasure to watch your problem solving skills. Looking forward to everything coming together
  15. You guys really need to order some of Joseph's carbs from FIreball Modelworks. By far the nicest, most accurate and most detailed model carbs I have ever seen. They are plastic also, not resin.
  16. Thanks for the heads up, ordered some fender flares

    66 Galaxie

Alan, I am not sure. I had the one and it was made by a company that went by the name of Golden Age Conversions. They made this 66 grille, a grille and some parts for a 65 Galaxie, some 66 Chevelle parts, and some others. All the parts were designed for NASCAR builds. Bandit Resins has cast some of the GAC parts, they cast the 65 Galaxie parts for sure. The last time I asked about the 66 Grille and bumper I was told they had the master but had not cast it. That was before the 66 was re-released by AMT, so Bandit may now have some 66 Grilles. Send an email and see what happens. A friend duplicated my Galaxie grille by taking plastic strips that would fill the 7 Liter grille flush and then he ran them over his razor saw blade to groove the fillers and glued them in, they also covered the turn signal lights on the 7 Liter grille. He's crafty like that,

    66 Galaxie

the AMT 66 Galaxie kit has the "7 Liter" grille, which only came on that model which had a 428 engine. The standard Galaxie had a more flush grille. The horizontal bars on the 7 Liter model are recessed and there are parking lights at the ends of the grille bars. A standard Galaxie did not have those lights and the grille was one stamped piece. Here is a pic of a standard Galaxie grille that was mastered for NASCAR builds, compared to the AMT kit grille which is the 7 Liter Galaxie. 19. Looking good. I built one like it recently
  20. I vote for correct Shelby 10 spoke wheels too
  21. Cool pictures, thanks for the link. I have to say, if you notice nearly every car is off of the pavement, mostly with no pavement in site. Pretty common in the early days to be off pavement. Could you imagine taking a 20xx modern car off of an improved road today? Would not last long!
  22. Very cool!
  23. Ford FE tunnel port heads and intakes. There has never been a model of the intakes and heads for the tunnel port 427 FE. Mainly the intake which has a separate valley cover.
  24. The half cab kit looks really well done. I used to own a 1:1 full tip Bronco with the fender flares and I was interested on modeling my old car. When will the fender flares be available to us? Definitely want a set
  25. All true Guys and thank you all. Chief Joseph has rescued me and I have a bunch of his awesome carbs now. Without equal, Joseph is the best
