  1. Because most people have no idea that it even exists. There should be a clickable emodelcars ad banner right here on the forum, at the top of the page.
  2. Why didn't you buy from a Canadian store?
  3. Tons more photos of the model here: http://diecastramblings.com/PhotosDM36packard12phaeton.html But it's already sold out and won't be available again until July.
  4. Yeah, mine has the incorrect narrow WWs too. I think I'll give that fix a try.
  5. That's exactly what I was hoping... that some of you would think it was the new Danbury model. I just got mine, and it's amazing!
  6. Final vote: 46 REAL, 21 MODEL. You guys got this one–it's REAL! Hmmmm.... I'll have to get tougher next time...
  7. Yeah, your engineering is a bit suspect... But the creativity and "coolness" factor is right there! And the weathering/grunge is great.
  8. Sorry, that color belongs on a MOPAR only... but the craftsmanship is at your usual insane level of perfect-icity. (That's like "synchronicity," only different!)
  9. You'd have to be completely crazy to take that monstrosity to 55 mph!
  10. A big "DITTO" on that. It's pretty cheap, it's available everywhere, and it works great. Just be careful to get the 2-part "Professional" type. The "regular" stuff comes in a very similar package, but it's not what you want. You want the 2-part (resin + hardener) "Professional" stuff.
  11. Another trick to remember: if you have a metric ruler, 1mm = approx. 1 full scale inch, because 1 inch = 25.4mm. So 1 mm is approx. 1/25 of an inch. Therefore, 1mm represents 1 full scale inch. It's close enough to work for either 1/24 or 1/25 scale.
  12. There's no way to answer that question... way too many variables. The best way to come up with a price is to figure your material costs (kit, any aftermarket parts)... then do your best to estimate how many hours it will take you. Then multiply the hours by the amount you want to be making per hour (or the amount per hour you're willing to accept) and add the cost of materials to that to come up with your price.
  13. Wheelchair? Huh???
  14. I thought he would stick around forever... Just think of his poor family... must have been tough to lose someone who you've become so strongly attached to... RIMSHOT!!! Thank you... I'm here all week...

    Nice;

    On a "quite" night???
  16. The perfect name for Art's aftermarket company...
  17. Spectacular! Too bad all the work you did to get it to this point can't be seen in your photos.
  18. Anyone who's not on board by now regarding obvious thruths like that is probably never going to be on board... so no use even trying to talk sense to them. They're living in a world of their own...
  19. Psssst..... hey Mark... I know the answer. Send me five bucks and I'll let you in on the secret...
  20. A. Everyone has their own opinion, everyone is entitled to their own opinion, and everyone's opinion is equally valid. B. There's no accounting for taste. C. One man's meat is another man's poison. D. One man's treasure is another man's trash. We all already know that. So let's stop rehashing the obvious and get on with model stuff.
  21. Well, irregardless, it's all the same to me...
  22. Aaaaaaaaarrggghhhhh!!!!!! One of my all-time pet peeves! If you could care less... then you must care to some extent. What you actually meant is you couldn't care less. Class dismissed.
