  1. The unmasking has begun Thanks for looking
  2. The unmasking has begun Thanks for looking
  3. Nice looking Mustang. My first car was a Summertime yellow 64.5 convert . Nowhere near as nice as yours though. To bad the glue didn't dry as clear as it should have behind the head lamps
  4. Sweet build. I love all the added details
  5. very cool
  6. Funny when I take pictures of my builds it seems to highlight each and every flaw.Even those I couldn't see with the naked eye. You'res on the other hand looks great from where I'm sitting. I don't see the flaws like you do. This appears to me to be one to be proud of.
  7. Hum, it's purple.
  8. WOW, that is so cool.
  9. Nice work. I'm an old time Gen 2 SHO fan. I wish they made models of both the Gen 2 and Gen3 SHO's.
  10. Now that is a wicked cool collection of Mad Max cars. Well done. When can we expect to see Max's red camper? LOL
  11. I am a certifiable Yankee hater but I think that's a very creative paint job. There is a 2008ish Mustang in my area that is painted just like that.
  12. I've never seen anything like that before. WOW, that is absolutely cool!!!!
  13. Stunning build
  14. Thank you for the kind words. I'm not sure what that means. All the cars in the first movie from the black Holden (Stolen by the Night Rider) to the yellow, red, blue Falcon sedan, the yellow, red, blue Coupe (Max's 1st ride) to Max's famous blown XB Falcon they were ALL MFP vehicles no matter the color or the number of doors.. You can see the MFP logo/ Badge on the rear quarter of the 2 door Holden interceptor Here Max and his good buddy Goose pose in front of Max's 4 Door MFP Interceptor. Then as we all know later on in the move Max received the Falcon XB Coupe 2 door Interceptor. You can see the MFP logo/ badge on the front fender behind the front wheel. And of course there was The Boppers Falcon Pursuit vehicle (No decent photo) which drove through the motor home. That was also a 4 door car. I guess what I'm getting at is there is no hard fast rule to what color, or number of doors makes a car an interceptor. Especially in the world of movies and fiction. Even in the real world you can go into almost any police station parking lot and you will see many cruisers in many shapes, sizes, colors, engines, door combinations etc... The only rule is to use whatever you can for the task at hand.
  15. Tomorrow we'll have the reveal Thanks for taking the time to look at my work. If you want to see a more detailed and colorful look at this build click the link http://www.modelcars...showtopic=54215
  16. Now it time for the fun part. Time to add some color... Yellow was the first color to be added After the yellow dried a mask was applied and the next color was applied. Model Masters Signal Red. After that dried I applied another mask and sprayed Testors Dark Blue Tomorrow we'll have the reveal Thanks for taking the time to look at my work.
  17. More interior work done. I didn't go crazy by installing carpet or detailing the non-existent door skins and such as the sleek contour of the roof-line won't allow you to see anything anyway. The roll bar was installed Sitting here like this everything looks out of proportion but when I placed the interior into the body it actually look ok. Rear suspension installed minus the shocks and other important things such as the front steering linkage. The modified 351 Cleveland engine put in place
  18. Cool idea. I'd like to see that
  19. Looking good so far. I like the choice of color for the body. I feel your pain with the orange parts. I have a Revell McLaren Mustang and its all orange also. In the grand scheme of things nothing a quick shot of primer won't fix. I look forward to seeing more of your build
  20. Where did you get them from? I might be able use those. Was thinking of trying to fit them in one of the newer mustangs like the 2008 Cobra Jet.
  21. Which scoops did they send you, the lower rear panel scoops or the upper vent scoops?
  22. The idea of a single kit Community Build is a great idea. I do that with aircraft on other sites but this bus doesn't interest me enough to buy and build one. I will however enjoy watching
  23. Two nice builds. The convert is a snap tite correct? How does that kit compare to the other kit?
  24. It seems to me that no matter how hard to press on the tape there is some bleet throught. I'm going to try this tip on the 73 Mustang turd I'm building
