  1. That's sweet! Are you going to pad that top? I think it needs something because that's a lot of blank real estate with all the windows gone
  2. With a little messing around that engine will snuggle down in and clear the stock hood. I does on the 1:1s I have played with
  3. In the past I have used the bottom part of an svo rear spoiler to make the 84 up part as well.
  4. What are you going to do about the belt line trim? Specific to 85/6
  5. That looks pretty good. You make the side scoops?
  6. That looks really good. I must point out that your valve covers are on the wrong sides though.
  7. Jones car has never actually been confirmed as a legit t top notch. Many we're done at the dealer level. There are rumors of a couple 87s and an early 88 roaming around. I have seen this operation performed and its not too terribly hard. Nothing is welded in
  8. There were 700 ish t top coupes built between 79-84. Most references state none were built 85-6 but a few have surfaced. None have been verified by buck tags or Marti reports. I personally know a couple 84s and they are neat cars
  9. That trim on top of door stays with the car. It's the weathrstrip. I may have to convert one of these to 14 spec. So I can build my car
  10. Correct. The blue car is a 70. Spoiler, stripes and the ignition key was relocated on 70's
  11. Looks awesome bud! The water pump is easy. Check out the one I scratched up from pics in my bee WIP. I used part of a 57 chevy oil filter and made the flange from styrene plus put the power wire on it. Not perfect but with everything going on in my engine bay it passes the visual test lol
  12. I wish someone would master up a nice 85-6 capri rs. I have 3 1:1s and want to build them. The bubble hatch and rear bumper is the tricky part
  13. Just a bit of pace car trivia for you. The box art is one of 3 cars that were on hand at race. The only 3 to get t tops. All the replicas were sunroof or solid roof. The actual pace car on race day also had a roush built 358 cubic inch windsor
  14. Lol yup. Low dark color to show off the sweet curves. New hemi or viper engine, all while remaining true to the bee with the rear stripe and six pack hood
  15. You could build a stripe delete car. Although uncommon, they do exist lol
  16. And I am excited to work with it. I am actually going to use this as a bit of a community build of sorts. All of you interested will have some input on color, trim, wheels, engine etc. Should be fun
  17. Looks good. I love this kit! I would leave the doors alone. That's a step you usually do before paint
  18. Pm sent
  19. Yup 69 super bee. Now that you did that you could just send it to me to finish it up since you got 3 going! Lol
  20. That would be great. I'm home every day after about 430. Just let me know what day and I will shoot you my cell number
  21. I stand corrected. I bet that was a fairly rare add on. I know of 3 that used to be in my area and have never seen one with magnums. Not sure where they went. One guy had 2 at once. Red and sublime
  22. Where did you get the decal for the wing and headlight? My old blue version of this kit does not have them. Also like your road runner kit, the wheels on this car "should" be the ralleys from the cuda. Magnums were not offered on this car
