The diamond dust I used on my 50 ford was that way. I found on last color coat if you hold it farther back some of the flake dissipates and it looks better

Meh, I wanna try the glass roof but it's pretty hard to get on the Shelby as not many ordered that way. My cobra is a convertible, my other Shelby is a convertible so maybe I should go that way. Will know more tmo. It will be sooner than 10 weeks now too I guess lol

I have an 03 torch red quite a bit of work done. Ran high 12's all day long. It has 20k on the odo. I will miss it but the urge to have a Shelby I will drive a bit is too much. I don't drive my cobra much or the 40th so I wanna mod this one right out and have fun lol

Well I got some decent news. Dealer compiling a list of cars on ground or ordered from across Canada. Now I have to make a choice. Coupe or vert. Glass roof or solid. I have a few color combos in my head I will make work lol. I already have a mod list set up with evolution performance so as soon as I get a car it will go From 662 at crank to about 750 at the tire! Yes, that's a nice 800 hp street car : )

well after a bit of a break I got back at it. got blower belt done and heads installed my induction went from a dominator to EFI. made an inlet elbow and started on a throttle body

You are blessed! Trust me. I have several mustangs and I have a couple buddies who are cougar nuts. If you are a young guy you don't likely have the deep pockets it takes to do a cougar! There are no real parts sources for them like other cars like mustangs,camaros,chevelles etc. I know for fact these guys have hunted for ages to find good clean parts for these. Sheet metal is not as readily available either. You will find what you are looking for. Last fall I followed a tip and 10 miles from my house I found a 68 cyclone gt in a little bush in a field. Been parked there since 74. Never told a soul. Got it for 100 bucks and all the hard to find cyclone stuff is mint on it

Well this is poor news! I called my dealer to get this going and was informed they can't order. They have their full allotment on the ground! Now best I can do is search the Canada wide database at dealer and find a car that I want that fits my requirements. Then hope they can pull it from another dealer. This sucks

I am pretty excited. Wife gave me the green light to order a new car for the pony stable. Ordering Monday morning. 2014 Shelby gt500 convertible. Sterling grey blue stripes performance pack and electronics pkg. Said delivery in 8-10 weeks. Should play nice with my other cars

That's good to hear. Being relatively new sometimes it's hard to know who you should or shouldn't trade with. That goes on either side. Do I trust the new guy? Lol. I have had great trades so far and help out when I can. Truely a great community here

AH, I got you now. put a rocker stripe on it and you have the rare but real 69 GT mustang. most people don't even know they exist lol

I must agree. All I have had have had grey primer. My 95 gt and 97 cobra had a more olive green tint to the primer and my 03 Mach is a darker grey.

All 69 air cleaners were closed top units unless you got a shaker hood. That hood scoop did nothing on 69 mustangs. On 68's with the cobra jet it was a ram air scoop
