  1. Looking at the picture of the roof, are you talking about the outline of the roof flaps?
  2. I do remember Prop. 13 and the benefits to long time homeowners as well as retires which was one of the original proposals behind it. We were in the Sacramento area going up Hwy 80 toward the north shore of Lake Tahoe. At the time, around 1990, a wide spot in the road called Rocklin was starting to get developed. When we left in 1996 the housing market was in the "pull chain" department. We carried our equity from our home in Citrus Heights plus some cash not to mention many upgrades we did to the new house during the time we owned it. We were unable to sell it for more than the balance of the mortgage and we had more than 30% down plus upgrades after we moved in. The problem we are faced with the County mainly the City is that they have a long history of jacking up values and even have a mystery flouting figure they can add on at their discretion when they figure out what they are going to charge for taxes. We had this problem with the home we built here around 2000 and the duplex we had where my wife's mother lived for a time. The duplex we owned for 10 years and they were taxing use as if it was worth far more than its real value. They kept saying they had the greatest value increases in that city, and yet we were only able to sell it at about a $20k less than when we bought it and again not to mention the landscaping and condition of the property.
  3. I understand all that. The property is only really worth what someone is willing to pay for it. The part that has my BVD's in a bunch is they keep raising their assessment so that they can raise our property taxes.

    1969 GTO Judge

Beautiful looking paint finish. The decals look good as well. I didn't realize that Pontiac offered the Judge GTO in any other color for a couple of years.
  5. Great looking paint, like the deep blue color.
  6. Got the bill for our property taxes. Seems the value of our new home went up $100,000.00 in the last year. We downsized our residents two years ago because the county kept upping our tax bill so much every year. Maybe time to look at a different county or even state for that matter.
  7. You can Google KBB and they offer information online.
  8. Great looking Police car.
  9. Great looking paint work and the color and interior go well together. Clean looking trim details.
  10. Great looking finishes and like the wheels.
  11. Beautiful and realistic looking finishes. Love the body color. Great attention to the OEM looking paint details. Innovative way to paint the tires.
  12. The truck model looks great, and I think I just saw Cooter smile.
  13. The holy grail kit subject tends to change from time to time, squirrel?
  14. Like the dusty finish. Some adult beverage and a ride through the back country.
  15. Great looking build. The paint finish looks nice and smooth. Like the stance.
  16. Great looking paint and livery details.
  17. Beautiful looking Corvette. Always liked the big block hoods on these. Great color.
  18. Great looking finish on the plastic body. All of the kits amazing details and you got the doors to hange straight and the windows to work.
  19. Great looking paint and the engine and chassis details look good.
  20. Beautiful looking paint finish and an all-time favorite Mustang color.
  21. Depending on how much contact and support you are getting from the inner fenders consider using some L shaped stock the reinforce the joint between the two parts. The joint between the two parts will tend to flex if unsupported when sanding and the filler will crack.
  22. You mentioned that the body sat on the fenders. Would it be possible to cut away the inner fenders from the fender part and use that to fill the body area? You could fill the area with some flat stock but that may limit the back spacing of whatever wheel and tire combination you're using. As for sanding you might try some sanding sticks with different courses. Also sanding pads/sponges work well since they can be bent to conform with the shape you're trying to create.
  23. I think that the Tasca Ford was a brown color with a gold roof, but I would have to look at any of their old photos to know for sure. I do recall that one of the Ford teams had that color combination. As I recall most of the Thunderbolts were built as a white car and the teams would paint their own color schemas unless they had ordered their unit as opposed to getting one of the cars from Fords pool units. This was in the time that manufacturers would sell their race cars to a team for $1.00 if they were a big named driver/team combination. I do remember I couldn't afford food for a week because I spent my money on the tickets to get in.
  24. Going with a 4x4 drivetrain? Big Block Chevy with a GMC Super Charger and a bug catcher Injection setup. That should give you something to look around when driving.
  25. Beautiful looking paint finish and chrome grill. This is a great looking body style and goes well with your pick up.
