  1. You mentioned the powdery paint finish and depending on the paint used they often have almost a felt looking finish. You might try a coat of flat or semi-gloss clear and see how that looks to you. Just depends on what type of finish you're after.
  2. Great looking color. Like the addons on the inside.
  3. Did your Corvair have the 140 hp engine like the kits lump of plastic? Like the grungy finish on the engine. While these cars were overshadowed by the high horse powered big blocks of the day, they were great handling cars if you knew how to drive a rear engine car and kept the correct tire air pressure.
  4. Remember following the original build on this. Glad to see it is done and the finished model looks great.
  5. Surprised no one has built a model of this Camaro.
  6. Couldn't say absolutely if a clutch style fan was standard or not. But any type of heavy-duty cooling system or a car with air conditioning would likely have such a system.
  7. This kit has been reissued many times by AMT before Round 2 started also reissuing the kit in various forms. At one time it was offered by AMT with a Chopped Top option as well as large rear and front body panels with different grills and taillights. Since then, many of the options have been included in many of the reissues, but not everything at one time. Either way it is a great kit, especially considering the age of the tool.
  8. Great looking paint work. Like the engine options used.
  9. Great looking showroom look. Cleanly detailed.
  10. Great work on reshaping the body and interior. Like the paint treatment and the wheels and tires.
  11. Great looking truck and the stance and wheels and tires all look good together. Like the interior treatment.
  12. Great looking Long and Low Cruiser.
  13. Great looking paint work and clean trim detailing.
  14. Great looking paint, and the rear fender stripes look good. Like the finishes you used on the interior.
  15. The stance is the first thing I noticed and then the great looking color combination. From some angles it almost looks like a slightly chopped top. The wheels really compliment the look of the model.
  16. Great looking color. Did you have to use a base color underneath?
  17. Great looking finishes and chrome foil.
  18. Great looking roof treatment. Beautiful looking paint finish and color. The interior and engine are realistic looking.
  19. A lot of great detail packed into such a small model.
  20. I enjoy studying all the fine details on this build. Like the finish on the seats with the look of real leather. The longer I look at it the more I notice. Beautiful paint finish and interior.
  21. Somehow the front end looks better with the delivery body than on the pickup.
  22. The multi part hood on these models can try your patients but I think this is the only way they could do it with all the shapes involved.
  23. I was referencing your wagon build. I was in high school when these first came out. There was more than a few running around town with the same style of two tone paint treatment, most were done this way on the top of the line models and the rest would just have the roof painted a contrasting color if it had a two tone treatment at all. I like that shade of gold or bronze, whatever you want to call the color.
  24. I'm always amazed by the attention to detail on this build.
  25. The style of two tone paint work was one of the factory options of the time. Not the colors so much, but I do like your color choices.
