  1. the quick answer is typically when you stick rwd wheels on your fwd they stick out past the fender openings, possibly causing interference, do some reading first maybe here wheel basics scroll down, if your buying new those bbs knockoffs are available in fwd offsets
  2. ours has moved 3 times the past few years and gets smaller with each move so guessing it won't be long, no big deal for me haven't shopped there regularly in years anyway cause prices are too high and weak inventory
  3. Doubtful I'd guess just more of the same old reissues that are re boxed and priced higher at least for a while for, example look at the kits with identical tooling, some of the Porsche and Ferrari kits come to mind, ROG always more expensive this is what I'd expect also at least for any new toolings, but only time will tell for certain and I'm not too upset either way already have more kits than I could build in a couple lifetimes as do a lot of us here the positive is there could be re discovered tooling that truly hasn't been issued in decades that could be brought to market
  4. the old AMT snap fast plus were great for beginners basically went together like promo models, I'm unsure what the secondary market is like on these, for glue the Monogram 1/24 scale stuff, Cuda, RR, GTX Challenger etc all went together easy with simplified suspension parts and tub style interiors
  5. like snap together easy or easier glue kits ??
  6. great build love it, have had a bunch of 1:1 and would build another if they didn't all rot away
  7. not to many of the fart canisters here anymore but the bikers still insist on hitting the throttle at least 20 times at each red light esp the doctor lawyer type Harley owners on their sporties
  8. maybe something marketed toward military or railroad modelers such as
  9. No Problem have fun with the build, I seen that car last summer at one of their events and it's pretty cool
  10. Google is your friend for stuff like that, 1 quick search here's the package tray and a pic of the brace behind the seat back
  11. pretty cool I'm guessing a fan could scratch build one pretty easy just lots of basic shapes
  12. great project and progress, I remember those fondly I've had a dozen or so of them years ago in various trim levels everything from the basic s6 with paisley interior to the sportier R/T and Road Runner those 360s were pretty slow, Haven't seen a decent one in years, besides the fender rust the unibodies rotted out right at the firewall
  13. There's also the AMT versions which may be repackaged Aoshima but I don't honestly know
  14. just for the heck of it here are several resin options HERE I've never bought from him so can't say anything else about them
  15. two that come to mind is the 70's Dodge trucks which are plain steel style and the current Mount n Goat has 8 lug wagon wheels for some reason
  16. Thanks for the info, not sure how I missed the 3 window 5 window difference, gotta start paying attention
  17. nice looking kit that I missed, is this issue the same but with extra stuff ??
  18. Revell 25th scale, Hot Wheels and Johnny Lightning as well, kinda amazing neither of them ( Two Lane or AG) or both was released in plastic it is the same car after all
  19. Casey beat me by a couple minutes, I'd check Greyhound bus, I've looked into having VW stuff shipped from the west coast and its considerably cheaper
  20. MPC made several of the quad headlight models I don't think any of them have been issued in many years so its secondary market
  21. I noticed the Lund sun visor right away, Lund went out of business years ago and the XJ ones are getting hard to come by, in fact I buy almost every one that gets to the local pick a part yard and turn them into hobby dollars
  22. big fan of JCR myself in fact still have the rear bumper that was intended for the white one sitting here un welded still, can't speak for the new grands but the ZJ and WJ isn't too horrible to wheel in with V-8 power and comfy interior and when the front axle stuff breaks just replace with XJ stuff, a lot of horrible plastic body trim that really holds water and rots em out bad I 2nd the NAXJA, great site and the headliner was perfect in the white 2000 the other dozen or so that's come and gone well that's another story
