  1. my Jeeps were fun also, recently sold this one, my son's and myself have owned a fleet of them and the stories I could tell LOL
  2. we've owned over 100 cars throughout the years so hard to choose just 1 most reliable wallet friendly was the Geo Prizim (Corolla) the Civic or one of the CR-Vs which we still own 1 most fun was one of the Road Runners or Chargers probably the 68 RR that would run mid 10s though exhaust not fast by todays standards but still fun least favorite wallet unfriendly were the Town & Country minivan, Dakota quad and the Ram 2500 quad diesel, all 3 of them cured me of brand loyalty toward Chrysler products
  3. not much left here picked up the Beetle Bus, left a couple late model Camaros, a tank and a ship for someone else
  4. That would be a cool build the bear could be sourced from G scale train stuff check these out
  5. yup its Spotlight Hobbies now, I've bought a couple hundreds kits at least from them throughout the years when we used to have big shows here in Toledo
  6. thinking about it a few minutes the 64 GTO same thing a later strret machine version and there were a few later 3n1s 79 Camaro and 70 Chevelle come to mind
  7. there was also the Challenger street machine 2n1 after the Challenger T/A version and the Buick GSX first GSX then street machine, but funny they did the 71 Cuda as separate releases first the shaker hood orange car then the street machine twin scoop hood black car
  8. several people have cast the Magnum NASCAR bodies, maybe start with the Air Trax 79 Cordoba and back date it
  9. I know really late to the party and kinda off topic for the direction this thread went but here's why the funny car glass in the Nova in case anyone's interested
  10. my son txt me this one from the road, thought someone might get a laugh from it
  11. I'm thinking things that follow the current trends in hot rodding would be great sellers, go to any show and you see lowered and pro touring style cars everywhere and its been that way for many years, the kits with the large diameter tasteful styles wheels have been ok but don't represent the proper stance without reworks to the chassis, coil over and air ride style suspensions would be welcomed on most any of the popular car models, as would modern drivelines things like big turbos and LS engines even modern Hemis, I hate to buy 2-3 kits to build something so I don't buy much these days cause the reissues just don't interest me been there done that kind of thing also someone there should follow completed auctions and see what consistently sells for decent money the 1st gen S-10s and late 60s-early 70s C-10s come to mind as examples
  12. well since were dreaming I'd love to see an 84-2001 Jeep Cherokee XJ, I think it could have or would still be a tremendous seller, they are still super popular in the off road community, were used for mail, police and other government branches 84-96 would probably be the best cause there were just minor cosmetic changes between the years and the resin guys could help fill in the year specific parts another would be a proper wide eye VW Baja Bug any year
  13. super nice really like the weathering esp the body molding areas
  14. very cool project. would love to build a replica of my real 69 so how hard do you think it would be to convert to a wide eye? or are the fenders cut to high ? my scratch building skills are pretty poor, do the Revell and Tamiya kits both have swing axle rears and king pin fronts ? thanks
  15. One last thing. Does anybody know of other Demon models in other scales, or as funny cars and things like that? I have the Johnny Lightning die cast, and I've seen at my local model car club a larger die cast Demon. But, nothing in plastics or as a kit. R. Scott (aka Uncle Scott) Revell did the Revellution F/C in both 1/25th and 1/16 scale
  16. 2 completly different toolings the 74 GTX was out in 74 then again in 83,then sold in the AMT box a few years ago also in the checker board style box by AMT,then it was re decaled back in a MPC box and was Daisy's Road Runner, then the collector tin the 71 Road Runner was last out in 87 so I don't believe they would modify the 71 tooling to make the 74 RR since the 74 was already in the line recently
  17. here check out this site tons of factory lit here http://www.hamtramck-historical.com/dealerships/1971PlymouthDealershipDataBook-02.shtml
