  1. Boy you sure dream big ! Nice work an a cool little kit .
  2. Nice work Eric !
  3. Nice work Dale ! Learning and improving your skills is a big part of this hobby . Do a little research on applying BMF and go for it on your next model !
  4. That's very cool Ray ! We had mini bikes as kids but never anything like that , I bet they were a blast !
  5. Looks really good Marshall , I like the engine and extra detailing you've done !
  6. Beautiful convertible Sean , they can be difficult because everything is so visible ! The woodgrain interior and the red accents really make this first class . Great job !
  7. Another great looking '58 ! Nothing wrong with Resale Red , one of my favorite colors ! Are those the kit taillights ? I never noticed they were small before .
  8. That's nice , I really like it ! Your choice of colors and your trim work couldn't be any better . I happen to prefer the old AMT kit over the Revell kit but I've never seen the doors fit as nice as yours . . . very nice work !
  9. Very nice ! I like your choice of colors and the interior detailing is excellent !
  10. I know how you feel Bernard . I'm not sure what the advantages are of IE 11 over 9 and 10 but I had problems with it too . I uninstalled it and my computer automatically was running IE 10 again . . . no more problems ! Oh , and Photobucket wasn't working with IE 11 either !
  11. Things do tend to move mysteriously when doing a build like this , nothing surprises me any more ! It's coming along nicely Dave . I like the way you did the tailgate hinges , and the subtle change to the taillights really works !
  12. Thanks JT ! Owners call them " cars " , legislators call them " trucks " .

That's pretty cool ! I really like those HOK colors . Nice job !
  14. Nice one Jim ! I like that color !
  15. Congrats on the Electra Glide kit , looks like some really nice parts in that one ! I doubt your problem is the plastic or the Purple Power , more than likely it's the type of glue you are using . Liquid cements work when there is a tight fit with no gaps , and they all are designed to work with specific types of plastic . Some work better on styrene than others . And super glue or CA glue really doesn't make a strong joint , in fact it's very brittle and parts can be easily broken apart . It has its uses but not for anything structural like a frame ! If all else fails , use Testor's Model cement in the orange tube !
  16. Very nice David ! One of my favorite cars .
  17. Gotta love those wagons . . . great job Alan !
  18. Wow , that's a beautiful model ! Absolutely one of the finest models I've seen in a long time !
  19. That's pretty sharp , I bet they would've sold a ton of those !
  20. I also worked on the hood with a file and some sandpaper to get it even . Before I started I added small gussets ( circled ) in the body so the hood will close the same every time . Once it fits flush I need to work on the gaps .
  21. I decided to work on the bed opening profile one more time , don't know why I can't get it right ! Here's the shape it's supposed to be . So I added some plastic and tried again ! That might be pretty close . I need to clean it up a bit and make sure it's the way I want it before adding the bed molding !
  22. Thanks Robert ! And you are probably right about the grille . I remember at the salvage yard I picked the best parts off of 3 El Caminos they had , and that was the nicest looking grille . I always said it was a '77 front clip just to make it easy , maybe I'll change that to a '76 so I don't get a bunch of " Gotcha's " !
