Cool looking model ! These are always fun to detail and paint . Great job !
  2. Makes sense as a business decision , a sign of the times . It is too bad though .
  3. Very nice Stuart ! I love the engine ! ! I'd say you did more than okay with the doors . Overall she's a real beauty , and the third taillight is cool .
  4. Andrew , It looks pretty good so far . I like what you are doing to make the engine look correct ! Bill beat me too it , all FIA cobras had the "cutback" doors because of the larger rear fenders .
  5. Super nice ElCamino ! I've never seen one in that color and I like it alot . Your engine detailing is great !
  6. Thank you Carl , Gary , Jason , and Johan . I've always loved the front end of this year Torino . This resin piece was really easy to sand and open the grille up instead of using a wash .
  7. Looks really good for your first build Scott ! That Street Charger kit is pretty simple compared to a lot of other kits , especially the 1/25 scale kits . I'd suggest you find one that is already tubbed and with a body style you like , and build that one first . Unless you have some experience scratch building and doing body work , you shouldn't jump right in for only your second build . There's a chance you will have a few problems and get frustrated , and that's not good . I'm not trying to discourage you at all , and if you feel you can do it , go for it ! Good luck and have fun ! BOB .
  8. Beautiful wagon ! I'd drive one with no problem at all .
  9. Very Nice ! The look and the stance is great . What color is that ? I really like it !
  10. That's not bad . Actually it's pretty cool looking !
  11. Chuck , Somehow I missed this one the first time around . It looks great ! I really like the look of the lower roof line and the new windshield . I almost did that with a 1:1 '59 ElCamino I had , it needed a windshield and all I could find were from 2 door hardtops !
  12. Excellent scratchbuilding Art ! I really like your descriptions , it makes it easier to look at the photos and understand what you've done . This is the type of project I've been wanting to try so I will be watching !
  13. This is going to be cool ! I like the look , it's very clean and back to basics . I built one similar to this back in '72 except it was metallic green .
  14. Definetly no convertibles for that body style . If you are converting one yourself , I'd bet the boot and uptop from Revell's '72 Cutlass would work .
  15. Thank you Danno for the info on these cars . I'm always looking to learn more and don't get offended like some people might . As for my Model T , I guess I could call it an " Early Hot Rod " , kind of spiffed up a bit out on the shed !
  16. I checked a couple of sites that carry Motor Max and couldn't find this camper . Are you sure that's the manufacturer ?
  17. The title of your thread got my attention as I always hit the food stands first ! Great little dio you have there , I can smell the hot dogs cooking !
  18. I know I'm repeating myself , but Nice Paint !
  19. I wondered about the doors too . The '66 looks much better as a dirt car than the '69 did . It should look great when you're done !
  20. You corrected the camber problem exactly the way it should have been done ! Simple and effective . Good job !
  21. Thanks Jim , Mark , Pauli , and Austin . Austin , Actually the kit costs $55 and I paid less than $5 for the yellow paint . Everything else was just normal supplies I already had , and the engine was in my parts box . I've spent more than that building a styrene kit before ! The best part is the Ranchero body looked as nice as a styrene body , not like a lot of resin bodies available for a lower price that require tons of work before you can even spray some primer !
  22. Wow ! That's pretty ! Very nice looking Caddy .
  23. I followed your build and I'm impressed with the amount of effort and research that you puy in to it ! I plan on using yours as a guide to build my own . Very nice model !
  24. Rods are good . They know what they like ! Good Job !
  25. Good luck with that ! I've used several MADD distributors and really like them , but have never been able to get the insulation over the plug wires ! Maybe it's me .
