  1. Yeah , that's pretty cool . Always wanted a '61 Starliner and now I know how to do it ! That rusty drag car looks cool too !
  2. I won this on Ebay last night , and for a good price . I know a lot of people don't care for these types of kits , but I've been trying to find one of the Red Baron for a long time !
  3. I hope you get the job . It might not be much , but it's better than what we are doing now ! Plus you are familiar with the product !
  4. Holy Cow ! ! ! Simply incredible detail , even for 1/12 scale ! !
  5. Looks really sharp ! I like everything on this one , especially the contrasting interior colors .
  6. That's really sharp looking ! You really captured the feel of the early 60's , I can almost smell the rubber burning !
  7. Here's a couple I just did with paint.net , which is 100% free .
  8. You can't go wrong building a Tom Daniels kit , and you've done some nice detailing to this one . Very nice and clean build !
  9. I was talking with a friend last night who wanted to know how big this engine really is . So I thought I'd post a couple of pictures so everyone could see the size of it . The first picture is with my 1/25 Hemi Wagon . This is with a 1/18 scale hemi engine .

Beautiful ! Your paint gets more impressive every time I see one .
  11. That's neat , but it looks like the same effects that can be done with paint.net , illustrator , etc . . .
  12. Very impressive ! Your amount of detail at this scale is incredible ! Nice job . P.S. - A photo with a quarter would be nice !
  13. No such car is mentioned in any of the Ed Roth books I have . It doesn't mean it never happenned but I doubt it .
  14. The body panels don't fit and it has BF Goodrich T/A Radials on it . Real .
  15. Super detailing ! Another great build .
  16. Wow ! That is nice ! The paint , the tires , and the aggressive stance are perfect . You nailed it !
  17. That's pretty cool . It was worth a click .
  18. Now that is a pretty El Camino ! I wish I had one like it . Very nice job .
  19. And for now I'm using the big block from the corvette kit . They aren't in the photo but even the inner fenders fit really nice ! And finally , here's the underside showing the shortened chassis . It's pretty basic which made it easy to narrow the suspension . You can also see the corvette rocker panels inside of the Metropolitans . This was to locate the chassis and also to mount the sidepipes , using the outer panels as covers . The photo is distorting things , it really isn't twisted like it looks .
  20. Hi everybody ! I haven't posted any pictures yet , but I have been working on my Nash Metropolitan . I've pretty much decided on what I want to do so here it is . I'm using the Revell-o-gram '67 Vette as a donor kit . The complete corvette interior will be used . It almost fits perfectly .
  21. Great start on this one ! Excellent scratch building so far and the engine detailing looks great !
  22. Just checked it out . Having a sample copy is a great idea . You should pin a notice permanently on the forum so new members will always have a chance to see it . After subscribing to several mags for many years , I too have stopped all of them do to economics . I still occasionally pick up MCM at my LHS .
  23. Some spray cans will lose pressure over time and some don't , there is no way of knowing . It leaks from the top of the can where the nozzle is inserted . If a can has never had the nozzle depressed , chances are pretty good it will last a long time . Remember , if pressure leaks out , then air has to leak in to replace it . That means the paint will begin to dry .
  24. I personally like this kit . It's no different that any other Revell kit with all the openings ! Looking forward to seeing this one completed .
  25. Your Little Red Wagon is really nice , and so is the Deora ! The extra detailing really paid off !
