I figured I'd go ahead and contribute to this thread. The two Plymouths in my avatar are the only two cars we own. '58 Plymouth Belvedere 2dr h/t, factory big block dual 4bbl car, factory Toreador red/Iceberg white. '61 Plymouth Belvedere 2dr h/t , poly 318, factory Lavender metallic. The '61 is the daily driver. Die hard Mopar fin-atic!
I use cans. A lot of my factory stock colors are mixed in cans from my local auto body supply. Single stage (acrylic enamel), about 15 to 20 bucks for a full size can. It's some money, but you get plenty of paint. If they could only mix it in the little cans....Sometimes I luck out and find spray bomb colors that are just about "right on" for certain projects as well.
Looks great to me! Harry's looks great too. I think sometimes it's the resolution of the pics that make foil look funny here and there. I've noticed it in my own pics. Sometimes a funny edge shows up that you swear isn't there when viewed in person. Kind of like what a picture or comp. screen for that matter, does to wire wheels.
