  1. Love the sparkle..........car looks good.
  2. That's what they are supposed to be for. I'm planning to build a trailer park diorama, from about 1961. I did weather a City Classics HO scale '55 Nashua kit. Here's a few pics.
  3. Cleaned up this old promo. It was in pretty good shape to begin with, took it apart and cleaned it, buffed it out, painted and detailed the interior, did BMF, trim, emblems, a little blackwash and it came out pretty good. Sure looks better than a "everything all one color" promo. Factory color is Cinnabar.
  4. Incredible! I've never seen anything like that. (water spots). Love the antennaes too.
  5. Great BMF job, and the color looks right for it too.
  6. Love it!!!! Great color and wheel/tire choice!
  7. Finished another one of the NuComp miniatures resin kits. This one is a 1947 Elcar. 1/87 (HO) scale.
  8. I love it!!!! One of the first RV's.
  9. Thanks guys!
  10. Just a quick box stock build, shot it with duplicolor factory color Inferno Red metallic, with Duplicolor clear. Smooth and shiny in person, but doesn't look as good in these pics. I think because it's sitting on a non-reflective porous surface. I busted the windshield while polishing the glass. :-(
  11. Looks great! Nice color!
  12. Whaddaya mean ya don't do it well??? Sure looks good to me!
  13. Awesome! Do the redlines and dogdishes come in this kit?? I want to do one just like this with a straight six in it.
  14. Anybody making one? I need one asap if so. Searched some of the model and aftermarket sites, but could not find anything.
  15. Beautiful restoration!!! Makes me want to buy one of these old kits now.
  16. Nice! Great color choice. What did you use??
  17. Just finished up another little 1/87 HO scale resin cast kit by Nucomp miniatures. They are now out of business. Wish I could get ahold of them and buy the molds. This one replicates a '54 Mobile, 30 footer.
  18. Dave, that came out great! How did you do the front end? I want to do one of these as well.
  19. I would call it a factory color as well. Looks great! I am a replica stock nut, so I could do without the hood scoop, but I do have to say that the Cragars look great on it with the whitewalls!!
  20. Looks awesome!!! Getting ready to build mine as well. Will be very similar, except done in a cool old retro metallic green. Love those old candy colors.
  21. Yes, HO scale (1/87). I too would love to see some old trailer kits in 1/25. These little guys will become part of my 1/87 scale vintage trailer park one of these days. I've got some others to build too. Someone put a vintage hand built 1/25 scale '58 Kozy coach on ebay, looks to be made out of sheet styrene, awesome job, full detail inside and everything, but it's quite expensive.
  22. Thanks for the kind words!! I'd love to see Mobius do a DeSoto station wagon. They could use alot of the Chrysler kit for the basis.
  23. Another beauty Jim! Shiny.........and my favorite color!!! Love the use of the different greens. See ya at the meeting Sat.
  24. Awesome! I dig the '70's green throughout!!! Perfect!!
