  1. I LIKE IT!!
  2. I just bought one of these on EBay. Am I crazy?? I'm thinking about stripping the paint off it and have it look like one of Carroll Shelby's personal cars, that had the all natural aluminum finish.
  3. Hey I was there too, found a few goodies as well.
  4. I think all Your NASCAR builds look great. ( whispering: but I have to admit, I'm partial to the Fords)
  5. Looks just Great!!
  6. Great Lookin' MoPars!!!
  7. Thanks Guys, I had to strip and repaint 3 different times. I was ready to just painted black, and be done with it!! So, anyway I'm thinking about decaling it as a '79 Pace Car. thoughts and opinions please.
  8. I agree with the comments that the engine detail is great!! Looks great all round, Dan. Is the color, Diamond Dust?

  10. Sorry Mike, this isn't a kit build up......I stripped, repainted and added new wheels to this diecast.

  12. Yeah! Why not,It's your interpretation of the kit, right?

  15. Nice work so far, and a really cool project idea!!
  16. Nicely Done!! Hey Bruce, I was thinking the exact same thing!!
  17. Thank You guys! Ray: I used a California Cobra kit, which is a reissue of the Handler...without a chrome tree. I've commented on pics You've posted of Your King Cobra before, and I mentioned that I also owned one for a short time. The T-Tops on mine leaked though. My ex-wife used to drive it, I had an '84 GT at the time. One evening when I got home from work I raised my garage door, and there was a red and white '84 GT convert where the Cobra was supposed to be!!!
  18. Thanks Everyone. Ron Hamilton: That has to be a truly COOL memory!! Ron (from Michigan): no SOHC motor, I pieced mine together by first buying a built '71 Comet off EBay with the intention of using one of the Maverick resin bodies that are available. I later found what was advertised as a Maverick funny car body, in styrene. So I didnt get a choice of engines and it has a Boss 429.
  19. I like what You've done Patrick. The black and green give it a sinister appearance!
  20. Great recovery,Ian!!

  22. Very nicely done.
