  1. Cool build idea !
  2. This very well may be your best yet !
  3. My daughter and grandson flew in yesterday. Grandson is about 18 mo. old and I had not seem him since he was about two months old. Thanks a lot Covid ! Anyway, as good grandparents we has several toys for him to play with. He had 6 different cars and trucks lined of in one room. One of those was a white Cobra with blue stripes. Which toy did he first go for ? The Cobra ! That's my Grandson ! He did end up playing with all of them. That's ok .
  4. Thanks fellows. The parts will live on in another hopefully better model.
  5. Thanks Claude. It, or some of it is now in my parts box. ?
  6. Yikes ! One of my worst . I'm breaking it down for parts.
  7. I used to like to watch Monk. I still watch a rerun now and then.
  8. Thanks Dave, that is the only photo I could find. The color for the wheels and grill helps a lot. Thank you.
  9. Hi guys, my next project will be a first for me. I don't recall ever building a stock car before. I have the MPC Isaac- Ford Torino stock car but have aftermarket decals to do the above mentioned car. I have only been able to find one photo that is not very good. If anyone has any or can point me in the right direction to find some that would be most helpful. Thanks
  10. Used the Revell Matt Hayes kit . I had some problems with this kit but it could have been me and not the kit . Just finished it this morning . Not at all happy with it but here it is with all its warts . The black trim really gave me fits and I didn’t do a very good job on it . Tried first with a black marker but that did not work too good so I used Tamiya bottle paint . Painted with Tamiya yellow and cleared with Duplicolor 1k clear .
  11. That should be fun.
  12. Can you share if not against forum rules ?
  13. Great looking model, well done.
  14. Thank you everyone ! Jim, those tires are the kit ones and they are very nice.
  15. I always like the Mustang ll's. I had two new ones. A 74 Mach 1 with a V6 ( no V8 in 74) I also was lucky enough to find the rarer 78 King Cobra . That had the 302 but yes the HP was pretty low but it was a cool car. I was at a dealer when one was being delivered and bought it right off the delivery truck but had to wait a day to pick it up so they could prep it.
  16. Rich, I do sell built models on the bay because I just can't keep them all ( except Cobra's). I always put in my ad...... models are fragile but will be packed well. buyer should be able to do repairs if needed. Sold several and i have never had a problem....... yet ?
  17. Using the Matt and Debbie Hays Tbird kit . Doing my own thing with the kit and not wanting to do the actual car . I believe using yellow paint may ha e not been the best color choice . But what’s done is done .
  18. Body looks great .
  19. Cool item from days gone by.
  20. Ya, looks good.
  21. It looks like a cool kit.
