Not normally a plane guy . Have not built one in a pretty long time ( not counting the 1/72 Gee Bee I built a couple months ago ). I got a renewed interest in planes since I visited an air and space museum around Christmas . This one I bought to try out some finishes before I tackle the 1:32 Tamiya P 51 Mustang . I know I may not do the best job with this but will give it a try . Lots of decals to do the Thunderbird version but it is a very sharp plane so..here we go !

Bought a can of this to try .

Mine is normally pretty tidy. I seldom work on more than one project at a time. On the rare times it does get messy I just pull the top down as my bench is a roll top desk.

I had a Starcraft tent trailer years ago. with the top up and the bed sides pulled out there is quite a bit of room inside. We had a lot of fun camping in the desert where nobody else was ever seen and the stars at night ? Amazing !

Metal flake on roof not Metallic

Built from the used to be Badman kit . I shy away from using black because I never have good luck with black . This model was no exception ! Anyway , only the front tires were a non kit item . Car was primed with Duplicolor and then black base using the rattle bomb paint from the Roth paint kits . I did the roof with a metallic paint again from the Roth paint collection . Clear is Tamiya . Kit decals . Molotow trim . Looks like time to buy a new pen as it wasn’t exactly chrome anymore . I think it turned out ok but just ok .
