I didn't plan on using the decals anyway .

This model was used as a test of the lil Ed Roth Rattle Bomb spray paints . Paint is out of scale for models but as I said this was a test of the paint and this was the largest kit I had to test on . The kits include a Spray max 2 K clear . Mine was defective so I used Tamiya clear as it was handy . The color I used was called Tropic Cali flake . I bought the 3 can kit but a 4 can it is also available . Built mostly out of the box . Wired the engine with what I had . Also am including some pics of the other two I have built . Not a perfect kit but I enjoy putting these together . Thanks for looking . Oh I should mention I tried this paint because I was thinking of using it on a pedal car kit I would like to build for my grandchildren .

Looks like the 55 Chevy kit I bought has a badly cut decal sheet . Anyone else ?

Thank you all very much. Mario, I would recommend either a Monogram or a Revell labeled kit. If you want the original Cobra then the AMT is your best bet IMO. Please build one !

Well , this didn’t go as planned . I had a can of Spray Max 2 part clear in a spray can . I planned to use it in this and another model . If you don’t know this spray requires you to remove a button at the top and then push it into a nozzle at the bottom to mix the 2 parts in the can . When I did that it started leaking pretty bad at the bottom nozzle . I got it outside quick but of course the can was ruined . So , this was cleared with Duplicolor . Painted Tamiya Silver Leaf . Stripped some chrome and added the tire decals . The hood pins will be added if I ever find them ! I don’t do well with tiny parts anymore . So here it is such as it is . Not my best but I will put in the back of my display cabinet , way back . Thanks for looking .
