I tried something like that on a tank using flat O.D. and then lightly rubbed with silver rub and buff on some high spots. Looked pretty good to me.

Not done with my Lindberg Mustang but wanted to get a jump on this one . Rare for me to be working on more than one at a time but waiting for paint to dry . Not much done , some parts painted and body and hood primed . The vents in the hood were filled so I don’t get kicked out of the Mustang club .

I had that kit way back when. It was very nice as I remember. I think I even finished it unlike some of the Revell kits of the time.

Not sure about how that may work out here or if she has thought about it. I will mention it to her. Third new car in a row that was no darn good. Lost her you know what each time she traded. Way upside down now I suspect. She bought a new Dart when the new ones came out a few years ago and that had many problems that the dealer could not/would not fix. Traded it for a new Kia Optima a couple years later and that car would stall out in the worst possible places. After a couple years she bought this Tucson. And the saga continues.

That's pretty good Bill. I walk everyday but not much in the way of hills where I am. I have to get out at 5 am because it gets too hot later. I only do about two miles in the summer. When the cooler weather comes around I will walk more . Gotta loose some of this virus weight .

Well I wasn't planning on filling up the vents but NOW ........ I guess I have to. ? Can't start till I finish the Lindberg kit I am building.

Another irk . I used the 25.00 ebay coupon to buy a part for something we don’t talk about here and the supplier today said that part will not fit my item after saying it did . That’s ok but I got a refund but I can not find a way to use the coupon since I used it once but did not get any Benefit from it . Oh well , only 25 bucks .

I like the ‘big’ Mustangs so I will buy one . This thread got me to thinking I want to build one I have next . Not a great kit by all accounts but all I have not including the 1/12 kit I have . At least I bought a set of nice decals for it . I will most likely use different than kit wheels but I may paint it yellow .
