    Actually that Daytona is not 1/24 scale. It is/was made in Japan but it is more like 1/43 scale. Scale is not mentioned on the box . It is a crappy little kit that has about 15 pieces.

    I did by a set of Pegasus wheels and tires for this kit but it would have required a lot of work to make them fit so I decided not to use them . I will go through my tire stash and see what I maybe can come up with . Failing that I will use one of the two options the kit provides .

    This is my second attempt at this kit. The first time was many years ago, lets just say it did not go well.

    Started this a few days ago . Fair it with a few fit problems so far . Painted red ( no clear yet ) . Being built stock .

    Shown before but here you go . My Cobra collection and my two 1/12 scale kits . Other than these about a dozen current 1/25 kits .

    Looking good. You are so right about the fenders supports, way too fat.

    The yellow Cobra was bought new as a built example. I also bought the same car, same color that was offered in kit form. The kit one has not shown any breakdown........ yet ?

    Thanks guys. No it would need a roll bar but none are required in my display cabinet. ? The marbelizer is an old spray can I bought packaged as Black Gold line of paint.
