  1. The first one I built ( light blue ) was done as a replica of my first car that I bought off my dad for 50 dollars . Pretty close but mine was a 4 door . This one was built as a mild custom . I had more trouble mating the resin and plastic parts with this one and try as I might could not get the front bumper on right . The AMT 60 Ford kit was the donor kit . This resin is the MCM version . The other was not . Painted with a Kia Caribbean Blue Pearl . Blue and whit interior . BMF side trim . Wheels are from Pegasus . Thanks for looking .
  2. Nice looking model. Love the color.
  3. Looks darn good to me ! In fact they all do.
  4. Thanks fellows .
  5. Also today this arrived . 1/43 resin Ford RS 200 . No larger kits that I know of so I got his for a low opening bid .
  6. Yes, I'm sure no engine . But I have not opened it yet. It is said to be molded in color and if it looks nice I may just try my hand at just polishing the plastic. Snake has done some like that with pretty good results. I never tried that I can remember. I did end up with a Mustang ll with the V8 in 78 when I bought the King Cobra. 302 but pretty low on power for 78 as you all know. Still it was a cool car that you didn't see coming and going.
  7. Using the Dyno Done kit . Body painted silver and violet . Replaced the plastic tires with rubber ones . I may build it nose high . Maybe not correct but I like the front up sometimes . I will need to see it in mock up to know .
  8. Should wrap this one up today or tomorrow .
  9. This arrived today . In 74 I bought a new one just like this . Plan is to build a replica on the one I bought .
  10. Love it !
  11. Very nice. I like the colors.
  12. I believe you can save it.
  13. Slick and smooth, very good looking model.
  14. I have a couple. In fact got that same GT 40 a couple weeks ago. ( posted in this section ). I think it's pretty nice but only doors open. The rear chrome vent was put on backwards on my copy ( someone here pointed that out ) but that was an ez fix.
  15. Another great looking model from the House of Carl !
  16. Looks good. I like what you did with the headlights, big improvement.
  17. Very cool and well done !
  18. I managed to get BMF on the side trim on the resin 62 Ford I am working on. ( BMF is NOT one of my favorite things to do ) !
  19. I think both the Ultimate kits ( Vette and Cobra ) were/are great little kits. I built the Vette and a few of the Cobra's. I have heard that Monogram was planning others but due to poor sales they canceled plans to do more. True ? I don't know.
  20. Fantastic looking model.
  21. Sweet looking Merc.
