  1. Nicely done.
  2. Can’t get photos to load . Will try later
  3. That is wild ! I love it.
  4. Very nice clean model. Good work Jim.
  5. I myself like to see a little humor in a layout.
  6. Thank you guys. No Jim the window mounts in through the interior. I kind of think the roof of the cab has a bow in it that hinders the window fit. Not sure. But other than that the kit goes together about as good any kit i built in my 50 plus years of building.
  7. Wow ! That is one sharp model.
  8. Very nice !
  9. Thank you fellows ! Except for the windshield this kit fits together very well.
  10. Thanks Bill ! Best thing I saw and heard in awhile !
  11. Thanks . I think your right about the windshields in these kits .
  12. Not a bad kit at all . Fit together well for the most part . My only real picks are what I said in the workbench section . Suspension too low and tires too small . Those are just my opinion . I got some aftermarket tires which I think look much better and I raised the suspension a few scale inches . Had some problem with fitting the windshield but that may have been me . Painted it Tamiya metallic green . Interior is green and white . Comments always welcome pro or con .
  13. Thanks. A lot of nice cars including some Cobra's.
  14. Turned out very nice.
  15. Very credible weathering job. Nice work.
  16. Thanks for the comments guys. This kit goes together pretty well but I did encounter my first problem. Installing the windshield was a bit of a problem. When done and installing the interior tub there is a hole where the dash does not meet the lower part of the window glass. It looks like everything was assembled the way it is meant to but try as I might I was always left with the opened area. Did I do something wrong ? I don't know but I can't see where I messed up if I did.
  17. Actually those driveshafts were a little known option in 1969 and some very early 1970 trucks. OK that's BS. I used to do that to a lot of my models. Call it a trademark perhaps. It started for me when I wanted to dress up the underside years ago. Stupid ? Perhaps ? But for good or bad it does get attention.
  18. Nice looking models.
