I built that kit and several of the Cobra. They are great little kits and look great when finished. I wish they would have sold better and they kept the series going with more kits,
Very nice Jim. I did that same thing to a section of aluminum and I put a small pointed flat file in the tube before i pressed it and it held a nice uniform opening.
My first job was at a Texaco gas station. My boss needed motor mounts for a 57 Chevy. He sent me to the parts store with his new Scout. I get in and BLAH_BLAH_BLAH_BLAH ! A stick shift. Never drove one but knew what to do. I think I only killed it twice.
Ma's resin sold sets of those. I ordered 2 sets from them . They are a copy of some tires a man named Richard Caroll made years ago. I paid for them well over 2 years ago and as of yet I did not get them. No answer to email and a phone call was never answered .
I get your point Tom and can't disagree with what you said but PJ was not making anything. I believe he overcharged but it was up to the buyer to decide if they wanted to pay his price.
