  1. Another very cool model.
  2. This is not another post crabbing about what sellers charge. This one is about shipping charges I charge. Lately I have listed and sold some built models on ebay. I was running out of room for my Cobra collection and something had to go. I charge a flat rate of 8.00 sending it priority with tracking number. The actual cost postage wise seems to be around 7.50 to 7.80 or so. I have had a couple people say I am overcharging. I don't believe so because I think they are missing the bigger picture. Shipping cost is just one part of the expense I have when I ship. I buy rolls of bubble wrap at 5 bucks a roll. I can get 5 cars shipped with one roll. I also buy shipping peanuts at a cost of only maybe 25 cents per shipment. I also figure I spend money for gas driving my F 150 to the PO. I feel the real charge is more than the 8 bucks I charge. If anything I think I give a pretty good value for the 8 bucks. Opinions welcome. Thanks guys !

  7. You did a nice job on that kit. The way they did the headlights always puzzled me.
  8. This came yesterday. I have built this kit a couple time in years past but decided to do another one. I want to do something "different" with it but have not decided what that might be.
  9. Very nice work. Driver looks afraid. : )
  10. I would guess let it dry good. Wet sand with fine grit wet or dry sand paper or sanding pad and then polish with Novis or the like and cross your fingers. Some one will probably come along with better advise.
  11. Cute ! No way could I ever build that.
  12. Couple of good looking models. I am partial to the Cobra I must admit.
  13. Thank you much fellows.
  14. Thanks Joe !
  15. AMT kit. Top was removed and replaced by a sheet of sheet plastic. This is a curbside so no engine or chassis detail. I cut a opening in the top for the interior which is made from sheet plastic and some parts from the parts box. Paint is a metallic green then decals were applied and then clear coated. The wheels and tires as well as hood scoop and windscreen are parts box items. The rear wing was built from some more sheet plastic. The front fenders were drilled out for some exhaust dumps made from plastic tube and sprayed with Duplicolor Universal Chrome. Body work could have been better but it will have to do. Comments pro or con are always welcome.
