cobraman

Anyone have dealing with these folks ? I ordered some tires 3 or 4 weeks ago and so far have not received them. I know they had to make them so I did not expect them real quick but I have sent a couple of emails just to get a heads up on how my order is coming and I have not received a response as of yet. Paid with Paypal and payment was collected. Just wondering if there is a problem.

Finished the build a little bit ago. Tried to make it similar to a Cobra I found a photo of a Pikes Peak Cobra. I think I pulled it off. Not perfect but I am pretty happy with it. The driver "Carl" named it "The Bullet ". This is the Monogram kit. I used parts box wheels and tires, decals. Got the driver from ebay as well as the distributor. I made the front spoiler, the rear wing and the roll cage was modified from some roll bar pieces. For Harry I added a alternator bracket. : ) The car was painted with Duplicolor yellow and then some blue stripes were painted on . It was cleared with Testors high gloss enamel. Just a simple display for the Cobra I just finished.

Make sure paint is dry first. I use 3M blue tape for large areas. Perhaps someone will have a different idea for you.

Got a couple of the things I ordered on ebay today. A die cast Cobra from the Czech Republic. Also a Johan S/Rambler kit. Kit is nice but hood scoop is glued on and trunk is also glued. Rest looks great. Not sure if I will build it or trade it. It was a 17.00 buy it now and I could not pass it up.
