    Good idea but I would just cut a finger off or screw the hood up. I may try. Debi !!!! get the band aids ready !!!!

    Looks like I missed that photo/drawing without the stacks being on. I think I will go hoodless. The paint is the Testors gold lacquer.

    Did a mock up. I see a problem. I have the engine seated right but with the stacks on the carbs the hood will not sit flat. I don't see anything I did wrong so............. I have 2 choices. I can either leave the hood off or I pull the stacks off the carbs. Anyone build this and encounter this problem ?

    I have had problems with white in the past. Was your coat of white a very light or mist coat ?
