Bring me back again, I'd really rather not be out here on my own, Someone reel me in, I'm drifting ever farther from my home........ ...................... I had a pretty cool musical experience today! I was listening to a song called "Rabiato" by a group named Osibisa, a group I was turned on to by another thread here. One part of the song is a long tribal rhythm piece, and I got completely lost in it..... It was like the song (or at least that part) had no beginning or end! Like it had always been, and would never end.... I was completely engulfed by it. Never experienced anything like that before...............

In the 8th grade we were required to learn how to compose a proper paper with an opening paragraph, three body, and a conclusion..... I was lurking around on another forum and this college kid was doing that same thing, something he should have learned in middle school....... Maybe it's because of what is required learning nowadays?

Just getting started on this. This is my first large scale figure..... I must have picked the poorest fitting kit for my first one! I love the subject, tho, one of my favorite stories.......... This is the tree, assembled, then primed, puttied, primed again...... then I did a lot of washing and a little dry brushing...........

On a burning bridge your options are minimal at best, Depending on where you're standing and how much breath is in your chest, If it came down to it, would you hie-tail home and hide, Or catch on fire and enjoy the ride?

GM Daytona Yellow Matching Alternative

Of course, Snake is speaking in hyperbole....... Your plastic won't spontaneously go up in flames, but if your primer is too "hot" for the plastic, it will make it rough and kinda hard to sand back smooth. I've been lucky that I haven't had crazing happen but a few times. Like I said earlier tho, I use engine enamel primer from DupliColor, it's tough enough to stand up to the lacquer paints and won't craze plastics...... -

You may be better off with the Tamiya white primer than using DupliColor primer, as some guys have had problems with it crazing the recent plastics...... Instead of D-Cs lacquer primer, I use their engine enamel primer.......... You might want to test the paint over the Tamiya primer on a plastic spoon, just to be on the safe side....... -

Dupli-Color makes a chrome yellow in their Perfect Match line..... and It's not metallic, so it would be ideal for a factory paint job on a late '60s muscle car. One word of warning tho, their nonmetallic paints tend to spatter from the nozzle if you don't keep it wiped clean. Their metallics and pearls don't...... -

Automotive Production Numbers?
JollySipper replied to JollySipper's topic in General Automotive Talk (Trucks and Cars)
Hey, Jim....... There were several cars I was wanting numbers for, One being the Charger that my old man just purchased. It's a base model '73 with a 318/auto on column but it has the Aztec appearance package. I've only seen one more with this package and it was a '74 Rallye........... Any info that you may can find would be very cool and much appreciated! -

I just discovered this group today. It's QOTSA's singer/guitarist Josh Homme, Dave Grohl of Nirvana/ Foo Fighters fame, and John Paul Jones on keyboards and bass (yes, THAT John Paul!). They call themselves Them Crooked Vultures........ Here's the album art from their debut album...... I haven't had a chance to listen to the whole album yet, but what I've heard sounds Awesome...........
