  1. Wow! That really looks great.
  2. Its kind of on the back burner. I have two customer builds I'm trying to knock out right now. I plan to make this my contest truck for derby city shootout in July.
  3. This build is incredible, you have done some really nice clean work. I think a friend of mine may have tagged me in a picture of this truck on Facebook.
  4. Thanks guys. Revstew your cameo is incredible. I just heated the rails up and bent them free hand. I'm just gonna call it luck that they came out as close as they did.
  5. Sorry but it's just too far gone, send it to the scrap yard. Haha it really it does look good. I like some of the rust details, especially the rocker hanging down on the passenger side.
  6. Wow I have actually been following you on instagram. Truck is looking great!
  7. Thanks guys, Belugawrx I made the bends in the rear rails with a lighter. I slowly heated and bent them, I probably wont ever make any like that again. They were a pain to make.
  8. This started as a quick build early last year because I needed a truck to take to some shows. It has slowly progressed to getting more and more detailed. I need to strip the body and repaint it. I was rushing on it and it didnt turn out. Now that I'm working on it again, I have scratch built a frame. I am planning on putting an LS in it too. The smoothies are from Steven Zimmerman.
  9. I picked up the 77 gmc plow truck a couple weeks ago. I plan to build it for the sleeperball on here kinda going along with the theme of the muscle truck. The frames are terrible. I dont know how much of a difference there is in them but by the time I got done hacking all the 4x4 stuff off I had to put a pretty good layer of putty on mine. It looks pretty good now. The pictures wouldn't show up for me on the previous page so I cant wait to see what else you've done. The muscle truck is one of my favorite roadkill vehicles.
  10. I'm in, not sure exactly on the build yet. I'm thinking something similar to the muscle truck from roadkill. I'll probably build the 77 gmc with a twin turbo LS.
  11. I love the idea of building sleepers. Ive been wanting to get in on this cbp for a few years. Maybe this will be the year.
  12. Does anyone make a resin 54 Chevrolet or 47-54 gmc truck front end?
  13. Looking forward to seeing more of this. I'm a big roadkill fan.
  14. I'll be there, I still need to get a truck finished up for the show.
  15. This is a huge help, I've had a woody in the works for quite some time now but couldn't figure out how to do the wood.
  16. Nice work as always, cant wait to see more of this one.
  17. Nice looking trucks Blair, I love that blue 55 stepside. I seen it on a youtube video from a contest and always wondered who built it. Tom I really like that 64 fleetside, I don't know if its the colors or what but it just works.
  18. Come on guys, surely some of you have some trucks to share.
  19. Lets see all your patina trucks! I'll start it off, here's the first two that I built. Got several more in the works.
  20. Does anyone make a longbed for the 60-66 c10's?
  21. Started the front suspension last night.
  22. Well Im going to add one more project to this thread. I had a 65 stepside that I robbed the wheels from and the frame was very rough so I am building a new frame for it. I am also going to ditch the step side bed for the fleet side.
  23. I started two more truck builds for some contests this year. After my 50 model chevy I noticed the ratrod/shop truck style seemed to be very popular among the judges at several different shows. The 55 cameo is going to be a simple quick build. The 64 on the other hand is going to be fairly detailed. As for now I am just going to stick with the stock wheels unless I can find some 20 inch smoothies. I may just make my own if I can find a wheel/tire that is the right size. The are both going to have the weathered look.
  24. The truck looks incredible. I always look forward to seeing your builds.
