  1. My thoughts are also with you. The untimely passing of your brother is indeed a tragedy, and I wish you and your family well during this difficult time.
  2. Tucker junkers! Who'da thunk it?
  3. Hard to believe that's 1:43, Al. Ahhh...remember when luxo-barges routinely topped 5,000 pounds?
  4. OK, Harry, I'll be eggstra careful to avoid eggregious puns. Oh, and the egg-mobile is something different. Eggsquisite, I'd say.
  5. Never had a bleed through with grey plastic.
  6. I picked this kit up in unbuilt condition at a flea market for $3. Since the kit was somewhat lacking in detail by today's standards, I kept it pretty much box-stock to avoid making the build into a big Hollywood production. My only real gripe with the kit was the quality of the decals, which for reasons that I can't explain, silvered a bit.
  7. A Mustang for the coming zombie apocalypse!
  8. Scale recycling at its finest! Nice save.
  9. There's a lot to like here, and I like your sedan delivery a lot.
  10. That is gonna look sweet!
  11. Wow! Those are really cool, I like them all. Where'd you get the skeleton?
  12. The paint choice and black wheels give it a real mean look that I like.
  13. Welcome aboard, our new Croatian friend.
  14. Al, if you were looking for "different", I'd say you found it. Your Caddy flower car looks real cool. I like this on a lot.
  15. Now that's what I call kitbashing! Looks good.
  16. Al, you astound me. Even with mishaps, you STILL manage to get yet another one done this quickly after NNL East! I like the look of this Mercury, and the color choice really works.
  17. Appropriately ratty and rusty looking. I like it.
  18. What Geoff (GeeBee) said is absolutely true. The only addition I would make is that cleanliness of the surface to be painted is an important part of the process. I usually wash parts to be painted with an old toothbrush and mild dish soap, and allow them to air-dry, exercising caution not to touch anything so as not to impart any contaminants.
  19. Oh yeah, I'll be there. NNL East is like Christmas Day for me. Except I don't have to deal with relatives, so that makes it more fun.
  20. Don't put down your skills. Trust me, most of us (myself included) will likely never build something that makes the cover of Model Cars magazine, but we keep building just for the fun of it.
  21. I second that. I sure wish that it had come with them, too.
  22. I'm looking forward to seeing your work, Zee. Show us whatcha got!
  23. Nice color choice on your GP, Al. I like it.
