  1. Awww...Come on now. That's just mean. Six wheels, eight doors, an Oldsmobile Toronado drivetrain, raised roof, and just look at all those windows! What Powerball winner or rock star WOULDN'T want to be squired about in such a contrivance?
  2. I couldn't resist any longer. This is an AQC Jetway 707 airport limousine. Allegedly, something like 50 of these were built before the firm went bankrupt. I think it's a cool custom Toronado.
  3. You know, for some reason, I could picture Jim Rockford tooling around in something like that.
  4. Well-done! The color really pops.
  5. I like the "winged things".
  6. You could use a two-part adhesive like J B Weld. That stuff could glue Jell-O to an ice cube.
  7. That really is a work of art. Simply beautiful.
  8. Al, is that the scale equivalent of a "barn find"? It certainly is a classy-looking ride in that color.
  9. Another really nice build from our colleague in Poland. Looks great, Grzegorz.
  10. Very well done. I thought that the inspection sticker was a nice touch.
  11. Naturally, the '70, '72, and '74 Pace Cars are my favorites! Cool page.
  12. Wow! You really made that Fiero look fantastic.
  13. Now THAT'S something that will be really cool in scale. I wonder, has anyone attempted something like that in 1:1?
  14. Woodies are always cool. Very nice.
  15. Another fine build, Carl. I always liked the clean styling of the '67-'68 Camaros.
  16. What's wrong with people? Hard to give just one answer, but it helps if you regard some humans as laboratory test animals.
  17. I owned a '71 Cutlass Supreme, and there is no need to remove the "Oldsmobile" lettering from the trunk, as this is correct for '71 and '72, but not for the '70. The rocker molding must be removed for the '70 and '71, which had a chrome molding mounted a few inches higher (see photos). Note also the style of grille, as there were TWO different ones installed on the Cutlass Supreme in '71, with the one seen in the bottom photo most common on uplevel and SX-optioned Cutlass Supremes in '71. If you plan on doing a '70, the hood as seen in the Jo-Han '70 442 kit is not correct for the SX or Supreme, which had a single, large raised area as opposed to the two raised areas seen on the base-model 442. 1
  18. That Chrysler just looks so darn GOOD!
  19. I'm thinking that rather than scary, it opens up a broad avenue for dummies to provide me with riveting entertainment.
  20. I don't have any fear of heights. Deceleration trauma, that's another matter entirely. Always remember, kids, that the laws of physics apply to everyone. And they are, shall we say, "self-enforcing".
  21. Those Mustangs look real nice. I like 'em both.
  22. You seem to have some styrene that requires your attention. Welcome!
  23. Good to have you here, and I hope you'll show us some of your work soon. Funny, you don't seem to write with an accent, but probably drive on the wrong side of the road like those Australian blokes do.
