I'm 77 take away 60 years and my girl friend at the time had two big brothers who both had one of the 3 cylinder two strokes and were into rallying! They were tuned by a guy at Leighton Buzzard about 10 miles away and they went like stink. In fact the M1 motorway (three lanes each side) was opened in the early 1960's when the Very New Jaguar E Types were first released so one of the dealers ran one on the M1, to test the speed, as he was reaching 110mph one of the SAAB fully tuned three cylinder Two Strokes over took him!

So far: The roll over bar had to be modified to sit lower as it was too high to get the body on. A slice of alloy tube on the exhaust! Now the body is on; The side windows fit inside and the two screens on the outside.

Yes a perfect flat shape vehicle for a Scratchbuild model!

Thanks Bob, as I said on another thread I just love decalling, after only 60 years of model making!

I have used the decals from another more expensive GT3 kit, so modifying the decals to fit. This is the GT3 car.

A few decals, that were for a GT3 racing version which is twice the price of this kit. So a bit of cutting decals to fit! Especially around the doors!

THROO ebay UK! 07.06.25 Update Kit arrived all parts there, box dated 1960! Very similar to the Lindberg kits of the same era, superb! Body comes in green so will use car polish to smarten up! Also note that only one seat, not another for the girlfriend then!

Two new Renaults or as named in the Renault sports line of Alpine. Both are in a neighbours driveway, these are promotional pictures. And the new Renault 5 is an EV, in the Alpine range.

I complained a few months ago that when I posted photo's of a build it opened a new account, instead of adding the pics to the original build account. They couldn't understand what I meant, and it finally stopped taking anymore posts, so I stopped using it! So I had to find another hosting site and we don't have many in the UK!

We don't see any of these trucks here in the UK, how much?
