  1. I built alongside the Gama Goat. Box stock build just added interior decals, as kit sheet unusable, roof bars and Thule roof box. and without top box

Here's the March 6 wheeler at the Goodwood Festival of Speed.
  3. Thanks Gluebomber. I had a quick look but the prices are far more than I can afford.
  4. Looks very good and as a Porsche follower an interesting possibility but as a retiree the price is all important, so how much are these going for please?
  5. Certainly in the UK prices aren't falling at all on ebay. It was once a place to go to get good deals on models but no more. Even 'already started' that I go for being retired and having limited funds for hobbies. Some prices are as you have shown here, for example there is a Pocher 1930's Mercedes Benz cabrio, in a finished condition but at nearly £1,000! Some have what they call 'RARE' kits, of American made kits that are normally £30 here are asking £100 in as new condition or already started. No ebay is longer a place to go for a bargain, but here most of the model shops are gone from the High Street or Malls so the internet is the only way to buy.

Thanks guys. Yes David, I've built 1/24-1/25-1/43-1/32 all civilian cars. This is my first 1/35 scale and very a satisfying well made kit to Tamiya's superb standards
  7. I've put it in the Diorama section as well.
  8. Thanks guys and thanks for the extra info Mike999.

Thanks David. The scale is 1/35th. It has a jointed drive shaft off the back of the tractor unit, so it can go over steep peaks keeping all wheels on the ground! Here is the 'connector' in the down position, hinged across the centre.

Wow Jim this is just crazy. As an ex-race marshall at the Silverstone Circuit here in the UK, I remember the stir it caused when it was revealed! Six wheels, never, the other teams said! But it was masterfull when raced. The March team factory nearby built a six-wheeler but with four wheels at the back and therefore four wheel drive! It was a complete failure, with so much rear grip they couldn't get it to go round corners!
  11. Well 89AKurt, this build as an ex 1:1 Beetle owner is superb, I love the wheels especially!
  12. I don't often build military kits, but this one took my fancy, with it's fully flexible central connector and 6 wheel drive. I hope I haven't gone too crazy with the camo!

    Thanks Ellen.

I don't build many military kits but this took my fancy, with fully flexible central connector with 6 wheel drive. Oh I may have gone overboard with the camo!
  15. I've ordered this today to improve my weathering/rusting techniques. I'm always interested to learn a bit more about our hobby....
  16. Looks a super kit! I think some Aardvark models are on the Star Models website. Sorry I've just gone onto the Star Models site and they don't offer any Aardvark Kits any longer! I tried a Google search for Aardvark resin kits, which gave me Aardvark kits on Resin Realm, but not this one! I also see that Resin Realm closed sometime in 2017, as the owner retired through ill health. The kit was requested by Fred Cady and first produced by Aardvark in 1989. Worthpoint call it very rare.
  17. On six wheels, landed today................. Plus kit to go with it................ on the back......
  18. Yes I bought one of these kits about 20 years ago. As it has a small rear window we're talking the early 60's, my road going 1965 had the larger rear window.
  19. I have one similar from Scale Equipment, a VW engined resin kit.....
  20. We had a Bultaco of the same vintage (1970's) in the early 1980's, I bought it for my eldest son who joined the local trails club. Great bike for it's day, similar to the Ossa.
  21. Superb! As I have a racing team based nearby with these I would turn it into a racing car quick, fast!
  22. Superb Simon, just the right colour for such an aggressive car!
  23. As an ex-race/rally marshal for over 25 years I remember these on the tracks in the day! You've made a super job of this, well done Michael.
