  1. Very good! I built one of these last year, scratchbuilt most of it except the body (of course). I also bought one of Scale Productions, roof racks and Hiroboy's opening front Safari windows.....
  2. The 1300 Dolomite is about 1980/1981. A neighbour here had a yellow one!
  3. Yes that's a 1972, as the British plates are still on with the last letter 'K' on front and rear! I see a bit of rust under the front passenger door! My brother had a new Austin 1300 in the day, it fell apart over the next 5 years or so, completely rusted out!
  4. Well just fantastic Benito that is one classy build!
  5. Thanks guys. Yes these old Lindberg kits are very basic some with two sided plastic 'tyres' and very little detail, so you have to add something else/different!
  6. I have built this as both a road and TROG (The Race of Gentlemen Sand/beach race) car. So with fenders/wings and windscreen for the road............ And as an old-timers beach racer (TROG)......Fenders and windscreen removed and a tonneau cover over the passenger seat.................
  7. Delivered today another ebay buy for £8 plus postage... Possible race car?
  8. From 14th April. Another Lindberg Pick-up to rebuild and one more Lindberg Ford Fooler from ebay UK
  9. Superb Jay! I looked at this kit and the decals you used and here both the kit and decals are nearly £28 each! So built up and finished is £56! As a pensioner that's way over the top! My Ford GT90 was delivered today ( £20 including shipping off ebay) so as it's a road car I'll have to look in my decal stash and see what I can use, perhaps Kellogs Nascar or Monster Energy or Ford Rally or paint it black and white camo, or whatever!
  10. Thanks Rusty, the Kamov KA-52 sounds good! Twin rotors too!
  11. Thanks Jay, so being in the UK, it should be out here! I've got a Ford GT90 on the way. A road car kit so it'll be converted to a race car! We have a team based at the Silverstone Circuit about 5 miles away running a few Ford GT's in the World and European championships.
  12. Very nice, which model manufacturer does it come from please?
  13. Thanks Ron, no that's true that this colour combo isn't seen that often but as the body came already in black there needed to be a shot of colour to improve it!
  14. Thanks Jim, I must admit I thought it a bit over the top afterwards. But I also enjoy the contrast of colours.
  15. I was offered this to save. It came already painted Black so I wanted to contrast it with yellow. I added seats, wheels/tyres, exhausts, sun visor and as my stash of engines are all too big I scratchbuilt a bonnet and sides...and moved the lights to the top of the front wings.. A bit garrish but that's modelling!
  16. Cheers David. I'm glad you like them.
  17. Superb Corey, your Dad is a great builder/modeller!
  18. Thanks Mike. Yes I understand a number of manufacturers have released this kit, some are heavily armoured, this one not. It does give some rockets and structures to hang them but most of these in this release are not armed at all.
  19. Thanks Classicgas. It's 1/72 scale.
  20. Brilliant job Matt. I've part started one where not much goes together, so when I've got more time I shall try and finish it!
  21. Built box stock although the instructions are pretty vague. I then Googled the real thing to get close ups of particular part positions. I don't build many helicopters so although they suggest building the rotor assembly OK, but don't fit it until everything else is done including the decals. There is a full interior, and four choices of this subject on the decal sheet.
  22. Six new Aston Martin Vantages! As the Aston factory is just 20 miles away it must be an owners club!
  23. YES, YES and more YES Juha, great! Super SAAb and Vespa combo! We had (about twenty of us) tuned Vespa's and Lambretta's, short chopped exhausts(no baffles) and fuel injection............... in the 60's that is!
