Have never bought a Moebius kit. That will change very quickly.
They are going to be getting quite a few of my dollars once these.and.the Ford pickups are released.
Have never bought a thing from Mobieus.
The subjects never interested me.
I can say that they will definitely be getting some money from me when the Ventura, Comet and Ford Trucks hit the shelves.
Now.if we could just get them to tool up some late 70's Dodge trucks with grille options..
I like it Marc. I'd go with the white stripe and white interior.
and the wheels nail it, they look like modern, larger diameter zr1 wheels.
what wheels are they? Aoshima?
The wheels in the HEmi Dart kit almost look like Appliance wheels (cragar s/s knock offs)..
Dad had a set on his '70 SS396 Chevelle clone in the late 80's.
200 is way too hot,and add te broiler and its worse, as you've experienced. I never go above 105 in the dehydrator, which is sitting in a las vegas summer 115 degree garage. but when usuing an oven it should be on bake.
I have the racing version of this, but would love to find a street version. I have opened my kit but not built it, but the body looks the same and there are some nice details.
Jimmy has some cool stuff and a real stand up guy. I bought a chopped '49 Ford that as soon as I opened it saw the body was cracked. I emailed him and he sent a new body right away.
Wayne, I'll paint little stuff during the day,but I usually paint bodies late evening, early nightfall.
then they go in the dehydrator in the garage. I'm too afraid of stuff warping in the sun.
