    Dave, no need to change the wheel/tire combo. I worked timing/scoring for several Silver State races, and thats all the ex-NASCAR races used was, well, NASCAR wheels and slicks. btw, there's nothing like flying by cops on a closed road @ 150mph, and just having the cops wave.. and I wasnt even racing, just on my way to my checkpoint...

    Just wanted to say goodbye for a few months to all my friends on here, as I leave monday evening for a relaxing (yeah, right!!) 9 weeks @ Ft.Jackson, SC, followed up with additional 5 weeks of fun in the sun @ Ft. Sill, OK for US Army basic training... I should be all finished and headed to my unit sometime in late september after a quick leave following all the schooling. So I hope everyone is safe, and keeps the arguments down so this place doesnt implode while i'm gone...

    We all commented, and complained of the kit prices when Hobbico took over( kits were in the $22.95-$24.95 range), but I purchased a Revell '66 Impala today @ my local Hobbytown, and it was $19.95...\ last month I got the new Revel '57 Bel-Air for $19.95 at a different LHS.. has anyone else noticed this??

    Mustang's, Midgets and '48 Ford's, Oh My!!! I too hope the '48 is a stock height roof The Olds says Cutlass Supreme,I wonder if It will still have the 442 parts and stripes. I need another one( I want to build a 442 and Hurst, but I've bought only one so far) and if so I'll buy this version cause the up top will be nice, otherwise it'll be the old version I just picked up an original SVO late last year, but I might just have to pick up another as well.

    John, that looks great. I'm assuming you used Powerslides?? What color green did you end up using? this one's in my stash to eventually build myself.
