  1. I probably have 20 of the Petty Grand Prix Legends kits, of course they'll all be used as donors for other builds as the Petty Legends boxing are the only Grand Prix's of that body style to be molded in white. All the others are either the Petty blue kit or the yellow from the Earnhardt wrangler combo set. I'm currently using one to build Buddy Baker's 1982 Ranier Grand Prix. I usually find them on ebay for between $15-$20...
  2. picked these up all within the last week from both ebay and an LHS...
  3. Myself being a Chevy guy, I will admit I am seriously considering buying a used Ranger when I get back from Army Bootcamp... my brother bought a new 4.0, 5spd 4x4 step side back in 2000, and it was a great truck. I like to find another 4.0 4x4, but an auto, in the 04-06 year range...
  4. looks great to me, i already seemyself picking up a couple....
  5. Well, I'm off to Pic-A-Part tomorrow for the IROc...bodyman says left fender is junk after stripping the paint. I'll post some pics when I get it back.

  9. How did you make the little artwork for your truck?? I have seen those around and would love to know where/how to get one... my 1:1 project IROC is in my avatar...its at the bodyman's right now..
  10. I like the red one!!! I'm not into the large rim scene, I'll put 18's on my IROC, and thats as large as I'll go, but I have seen some killer GN's on 20's..
  11. after seeing Dave Zinn's build, I picked up a REvell Dodge Ram VTS off evilbay...
  12. Sorry I missed this one, the ones I went to in the late 90's were really not all that great...
  13. I personally am looking to buy an aerosedan and an SD online this very minute... I had always wanted one of these, but always spent the $$ on other kits... after seeing the photos and the details, they have gone to the top of my "must buy" column... I personally hope Gary (nice 427 Galaxie BTW..) reads this and considers doing a "more mainstream" kit... can you imagine the sales/excitment if Gary did an accurate '70 Cuda!?!?!? BTW #1.... will the reviewer please continue!!!! BTW #2....look forward to the article Jairus..
  14. picked up a REvell '37 Ford Pickup and an '80s NASCAR TBird for an ALan Kulwicki build
  15. VERY NICE!!!! love the details!!
  16. Great looking Fury, Billy!!! Really glad to see you back at the bench!! I keep trying to get one of those off ebay for myself!!

  19. I picked up the recent Revell '37 Ford Coupe, new on clearance from an LHS for $13.99 and the new '57 Bel Air for $19.99..
  20. I like to clear over it if at all possible.... helps seal it, keep it from tarnishing and keeps it from lifting,,
  21. Rodney, if it was OSP officer Lane, over on the southern 205 area around West Linn that gave you the ticket, I'll have a word with him!!! if it wasnt, sorry cant help..... great Zuki build, looks real!!
  22. Blake, I cant get the screen shot to work. PM me your email and i'll send you the pic of how i have my database layed out.
  23. Ryan, you need to hire my wife, not me!! She's the only reason its that organized, cause she's the only who knows how to use Excel. She also did an Excel spreadsheet for my stash, so now I know exactly which kit (out of 600) is in which box(out of 30) Blake, I'm going to the Super Chevy Show tomorrow, but when I get home, I'll try and get a screen shot for you, it'll show you what I'm talking about. You also have to have Microsoft Office on your Pc, cause that has Excel program in it, then you have to know how to use Excel( I dont, wife does).
  24. ther's some great work going on here cliff.
  25. I have every single one of my muscle car magazines like Hemmings Muscle Machines, MCR, and Musclecar Enthusiast cataloged in an Excel spreadsheet, broken down and organized by year make and model, then page number so i can easily find which magazine the car i need is in. This may sound anal, but when you have several hundred magazines, this is so much easier!!! It took my wife and I a couple hours a night over the course of a week while sitting in front of the tv to organize it, and I simply update it every time a new magazine shows up in the mail. There are over 750 entries in this spreadsheet right now. when i need something specific that the magazines dont show, i use google image search.
