  1. Yep.
  2. I know who the Hermans Hermits were (are?) and when they happened. I guess where we're differing is Classified as by the Press vs Listeners. We used the term Bubblegum Music to indicate Groups that were geared towards Early and pre Teen aged listeners. And both fit that definition, hence my post. Even Peter Noone in an interview in the 80's said the group was geared towards "bubblegumers" when he was promoting a Concert at the Santa Cruz Boardwalk in Calif.
  3. Harry, ya missed the Monkees and Hermans Hermits. Two of the Early ones.
  4. Great conversion of that Tractor!
  5. Yes Sir - On Both Counts. Dylan didn't release it on an Album until a couple of years After MM did.
  6. Historic Racing Miniatures has both Porsche 917 and Ferrari 330 engines that don't look to be bad at all. And I really wouldn't mind snagging one of Model Factory Hiro's Porsche 917/30 Engine Kits.
  7. Oh you know I like to do just like the rest. You know I like my sugar sweet, but guarding fumes and making haste, you know it ain't my cup of meat.
  8. You Sir, are a Very Skilled Painter!!
  9. Could you run a wire through the spring and once mounted snip off the tag ends?
  10. I saw on the News a couple of days ago, that one of them has the Perfect Location! Infront of a Medical Marijuana Clinic . Want to bet that Girl Grows Up to be a VERY Successful Business Woman?! Boy talk about Location, Location, Location.
  11. The '64 Falcon Sprint was the only Ford I ever wanted to own. Had I ever run into one as Good Looking as Yours (that I could have afforded........) I would have become a Ford Owner. Funny but had you wired the engine I think it would have just been a distraction.
  12. A week or so ago I had the need to talk to "Customer Service". Following that message and the required number of "Your Call is Important" messages I got to the Service Rep who I asked to remove their earpiece until the Noise ends. Told her I wasn't angry at her but wanted the Monitors to know how I felt - a required $75 Service Charge was waved. Heck even if it hadden't been I sure felt better.
  13. Randy, I've No Idea how you're able to do what you do with Metal. Good to see you're back in the Saddle.
  14. That'd make for a Classic Airshow these days! Before moving out here we were in the Flight path of Moffett Field. P-3's a plenty and the NASA U-2 on a regular basis. Now days it's A-10's playing follow the leader and C-130's doing low elevation Mountain Practice down Cochise Stronghold a couplea miles from our back "yard".
  15. Robert, Good Job on adapting that Base. That Sub and it look like they were made for each other. And the Street Kit'll make a Great Shelf Mate for 'em.
  16. I've got to remember that one! A Whole lot more fun than asking them to hang on, setting the phone to Mute and walking away or asking then for their Home Phone number because you're busy and want to call'em back.
  17. Mike that Paint Job Looks Excellent! Nice Late 50's early 60's Look also.
  18. Hi There Brian. Seems to me you're the conditions that cause Knock/Pre Ignition, not the Fuels abulity to resist it. Guess we'll agree to disagree on this'n.
  19. Funny but Question 36 doesn't have a Correct answer listed as an option. The Question is Octane is...?. The listed as correct answer is - How much Gasoline can be compressed before it ignites. While Octane is the ability to resist Knock. But given the choices their answer was the best.
  20. Ray, you ought to be here for Bird Feeding Time. I'll have over 50 Scaled and Gambel's Quail around me while I'm tossin' the Seed. I call 'em my Grey Chickens Tom and Carl, We've had 25 outside the Front Windows at one time. They've been known to leave Nose Prints on the Windows. During the Summer they'll nap under the trees around the House.
  21. Hey Greg, Got any Shots of the SR 71 Taking Off !?
  22. Harry, it's simply 'cause there are those that like to think it's Luck 'O the Draw and would hangup otherwise. Simple Minds require Simple Solutions.
  23. That looks like it was shot at my Old Stompin' Grounds when I was a Kid. San Fernando Drag Strip. See the light area Waaay up there kinda to the right? That was the Cheap Seats. The Foothill Blvd Overpass where I watched from. To the left was the Pacoma Wash, and the right was the return lane and just a tad more to the right San Fernando Airport, if I've got it right.
  24. Good save. That Blue Paint looks good on there.
